On a recent business trip to Orlando we stopped by the Sushi House and fell in love with the food, atmosphere, and people. The sushi really fresh and reasonably priced. They have great fusion dishes with amazing fish combination in both the rolls and sashimi small plates. If you are in the mood for something beyond the ordinary traditional sushi places, you'll love Sushi House Orlando. The dessert menu is a little limited but where else can you get a sushi chef to make sushi for you at your table not just at the sushi bar. This was a great treat for us when the chef came to our table to make our tuna tataki. You have to order a tataki dish in order for them to prepare it at your table. Great place!
Dear Sushi House: Thank you for making our Sushi Fix a great one. We love the attention you have with sushi and the great service you gave to our group dinner. Everything was great and we just want to say THANK YOU for a great dinner!!! Your staff was very courteous and we appreciate the explanation on the variety of sakes and making me look like a hero to my business group. We'll be back!
We had a great time at Sushi House on our last 4 visits and the food has always been FRESH FRESH FRESH!! Every time we come to Orlando, my family and business friends will make it one of their visits. The service is great and the friendly staff will be glad to help with the menu. If you are looking for great sushi, this is the place! Robert. New York.
I don't know how this restaurant got to be the number one sushi bar in Orlando, please don't go here! The best of the best is Ran Getsu located on International drive, pricey but worth it. If you are looking for a good deal go to Shisho Sushi on Thursday nights, they have a great early bird special. Fugi Sushi has good Binto Box prices for lunch time, and for late night dining downtown Hatsu sushi has 2 for 1 specials. Amura is good as well with their contemporary style and green sushi house Hanamazuki on International drive offers an authentic experience like no other. And last but not least Sushi En on John Young near the JW Marriot is extremley small but offers artful and tasteful sushi with friendly service. Good eating to you! :)
This place is great! The girl with the one star rating has a bad attitude and it's no wonder she will not be happy anywhere. We have been going to Sushi House for over 2 years and I just had to finally share with others that our experience with the food and service here makes Sushi House a great place to enjoy sushi.
It's not in the best place in town, away from downtown and International Drive, but has great following of locals like ourselves.
They always update their menus items seasonally to keep things interesting. Great fusion sashimi and fusion rolls.
May not be the best sushi we ever ate but good enough for us to eat there for 3 nights while visiting Orlando in August 2007. Prices were reasonable but definitely not cheap. Wait time for food was very slow on one night. I recommend the ninja beef, seared tuna, and double eel which all tasted fresh. Small dining room and our waitress was polite.
I was pleasently surprised by the quality of the food. I never knew that food could taste this good.
The price is slightly high and the ambiance is sort of mediocre. The previous one star rating is ridiculous. All I can say is try this place if you enjoy sushi.
