The food was ok....at best! Service very lacking. The most revolting thing was the bathroom(you know what the means about the kitchen). Filth, grimey walls, tattered papers on the wall, dust all over, splotchy mirror, no towels. I felt that had I done my business outside the toilet.....I would have left the bathroom a cleaner place. Wish them all the best but they have some major adjustments to make!
I ve never wrote a review, but this place deserves my compliments!! The food is amazing, I asked for my chicken vindaloo Xtra spicy and they delivered. I can t wait to make this my new take out. Chinese is over rated!
I stopped by for the lunch buffet and I was very surprised at how good the food was. I particularly liked the curry lamb and the Nan bread. I didn't really experience the service because I served myself. But I can attest that the food is very tasty!
ITA with the previous reviewer. The food is out of this world. The service could be a lot better. The sweets although are good, just watch out if you happen to do a take out. They can go bad very very quickly even with refrigeration.
Try their nehari - your arteries will be screaming, but you will have a HUGE smile on your face. ;)
p.s. it's owned & operated by Sylhetis from Bangladesh. Also if you want a similar treat, try the Pakistani version up the street at Apna Restaurant.
Wow! The food is simply delicious. I have been haunting Indian restaurants for years, and this one is simply one of the best (technically I think it is a Bangladeshi restaurant, but never mind that). Everything I have tasted has been yummy (try the shrimp curry, my personal favorite) - whether they are the rolls, the curries or the artery-hardening parathas. Indulge, but for heavens sake, don't go there too often. You will overeat before you know it. The desserts are a special treat. However, the less said about the abysmal service, the better.
