Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys. Bernard Carmouche, Chef de Cuisine, and Gabriel Orozco, General Manager, are dedicated to providing you with that memorable dinner.
On Easter Sunday morning we had reservations at Emeril's Orlando. When we arrived at 11:30 there was no one in the dining room. We were seated in a back table with barely room for 4 people. Waiters were everywhere. It took ten minutes to get water. We ordered our food 1 brunch, 1 burger, 1pasta dish and 1 chicken dish. We also ordered two Mimosas and I was shocked at paying $14.00 for each. It took our food over an hour and ten miniutes to be served. I really thought this would be a great expereience for our grnd children. It was a complete disaster. I don't mind paying for good food, but the burger was not cooked well and the chicken was so dry it could hardly be eaten.
Every time we go to Las Vegas, New Orleans or Orlando, we ALWAYS end up at Emeril's. The food is wonderful, but I have to say that the staff is the best on this planet!!! They should get a raise!!!! We were in Orlando and the air conditioning was blasting and I was freezing. The next thing I knew one of the staff brought me a shawl. I couldn't beleive it and was so grateful. We will always go to Emeril's. He knows what he is doing.
WOW! What an amazing experience! We arrived when they first opened and was seated immediately, without a reservation. The service was outstanding. While we waited for our dinners, which was not long, the waiters kept bring out delicious samples of different dishes. My friend did not like her salmon entre. The manager came at once and offered to have it re-done and added extras. Then the chef came out to ask us personally if the food was OK! I will definitely go back!
I absolutely LOVED everything about my dinner, the service and even the ambiance. I truly suggest Emeril's. By far one of the most immaculate restaurants in the greater Orlando area. Saying that the desserts were good is just an understatement. They definitely have the BEST desserts in town. The service was more than I expected. They truly treat us like King & Queens. Very kind people. My server's name was Vinh and he was the FUNNIEST guy I've ever met. He made our night memorable. Will definitely be back soon!!
Very disappointing. Very noisy room with tables placed uncomfortably close to each other. Food was not up to standards of other Emeril's locations.
The appetizers (Calamari was average) but the zucchini was fine.
My bone in ribeye was tough as well as overcooked. The signature sauce was way too sweet for beef. The side of asparagus was cold. My wife's yellowtail was dry and overcooked as well.
Desserts were the only bright spot of the evening.
Won't be back. There are too many other good choices in the area.
This place is unbelievable! The BBQ shrimp is a must. Not BBQ that your thinking. Great specials everyday. Dessert.. my favorite is the bannana cream pie. It can be a little pricey but you are paying for location, quality of ingredients and time. Try cooking something of his out of his cook books. Not a walk in the park. Also when the server walks the lady to the bathroom or all plates of food hit the table at the same time, no matter 4 guest or 40. Most dishes are full flavored, remember he started cooking in New Orleans which is know for spice and flavor.
