Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys. Bernard Carmouche, Chef de Cuisine, and Gabriel Orozco, General Manager, are dedicated to providing you with that memorable dinner.
This restaurant has all the class. The food is perfect the scenery and the service is spectcular. You have to ask for dining in the Cigar Room, it is very quiet and romantic and the view is great of CityWalk. This is a must!
We went to the restaurant for my birthday. The food was excellant but a little over priced. We confirmed there was a dress code but after about 45 minutes into dinner they were seating anybody with a credit card at a table. I don't mind paying a extra for a 5-star restuarant but I do mind dropping two bills and the people next to me are dressed like a take-out place. If you can deal with that then the food will be everything you expect. Make sure you plan ahead because it's booked 3 to 4 weeks for reservations.
I hoped Emerils was just the right place for a special occassion and it was. The food is an explosion of flavors and the service is like no other. The only thing that left me a little cold was the desserts. It was just OK.
EMERIL SHOULD BE PROUD OF THIS RESTAURANT WE WERE ON VACATION THERE WAS 15 OF US MY DAUGHTER DECIDED TO SURPRISE ME WITH DINNER AT EMERIL'S THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD THERE WERE NO COMPLAINTS FROM ANY OF US THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING ANY OF US WOULD GO BACK IN A MINUTE
Pretty pricey...New York prices, but not New York quality. The kids Filet Minion is a good deal and kids love it...the adults get drilled on the prices. Big expensive wine list. I have eaten there twice and won't be going back for a third time.
It was a disappointing dinner at Emeril's Restaurant. We were not very hungry. So I just ordered a king salmon and my girlfriend had a seafood gumbo. I ordered the salmon to be medium cooked, and it turned out to be almost well done. And the sides were sweet which was weird when combined with the salmon. Overall, the salmon was just OK. I would say $30 is way too expensive for that. The seafood gumbo was a junk! It tasted so bad. The shrimps were so mushy and soft that you wouldn't even think they were shrimps at all. Finally we got a chocolate souffle. It was again OK, not very good. The service was pretty though. We had 3 servers to serve us. But I would prefer the restaurant to focus on the quality of its food in the first place. The bill was $60 without any beverage. I think it is too much for such quality.
