Anh Hong Sandwich Deli, Orlando

The restaurant so dirty,and the food no good too.last week i came to anh hong with some friends

We were very impressed with the food, the service, and the price. Cozy, casual, and clean place. The young lady waitress was very friendly and attentive. She even recommended some of the popular dishes and desserts. We absolutely loved the food and the service. We will come back again on our next visit to Orlando.

I normally dont do this...but i was appalled with the quality of food here..i have been to this place several times over the last 3 or so years and always had a good meal. ive given it many chances and this time i was felt the need to put my own review out. I took 2 of my friends to try their pho and i am telling you, out of all the vietnamese rest in orlando, this was by far the worst. i used to come here for the com thit nuong but during a recent visit, my pork was dry and it tasted as if it was microwaved to be reheated...im assuming maybe they didnt sell what was cooked for that day or someone cancelled an order, i dont know, but it seems others feel the same way about the microwaved taste...it just get worst and worst...i was on scott joseph website looking for a nice restaurant to try in orlando and stumbled upon anh hongs review...he seems to be a reliable source when it comes to judging food....this is all one persons opinion, try it for yourself and leave your own review...i would like to see how others feel...better yet, try this restaurant then try some of the new ones like pho vinh, or older ones, pho 88, pho hoa...theres alot.

Great food. Authentic flavor, wonderful service. We will go out of our way to eat there whenever we can. The Anh Hong in Orlando is not part of a chain, not from California, you sit and there is a waiter who takes orders. It is thankfully not Americanized msg laden garbage. I will admit, sometimes the servers don't speak English very well, so if my order comes out different, what the heck, its still a pleasant surprise (only happened once). Regardless, I've never had a bad meal there. And if you're too weak to eat the beef stew, buy sharper dentures.

My husband and I have ate here several times and we have always had great hot dishes. We also like drinking from the fresh coconuts! I've only had slow service there once and we have eaten there about 10-15 times.

i dont know how this place is getting such bad reviews. the food is sooo good. it is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. the garden rolls are fabulous, as well as the soups and lemongrass/chili dishes.

The food is AWEFUL!!!!! I am not impressed, but the service was pleasant when I was there. I know they advertise that they had great reviews, lord knows that can be misconstrued, since I'm not a food critic coming in and they are putting out the best service for the food critic as it usually planned. For the regular folks who rely on food critic, I trust the common folks more than food critics anyway. The food came out quick......amazingly, but it felt that it was microwaved. I order a chicken rice plate with egg kiesh with shredded pork. Lets just say that the chicken felt like it was croaked weeks before hand and the egg pie was so rubbery. Food service appeared great, but the food either was sitting around too long or not fresh. Was disappointed as Anh Hong is a very popular restaurant chain with it's popular 7 course beef meal. I went to the Anh Hong restaurant in San Jose, CA and it does not compare. This place needs to have fresh food as the food taste like it's been sitting around. I do not recommend this place at all.

You order food at the cash register, and when it's ready, one of the cashiers walks into the dining area with it, and calls out your name. We ordered a Grilled Mustard Chicken just before 7:00pm. At 8:00pm, they still hadn't served it to us. When we went up to the cash register, we discovered the food had been sitting on the serving counter behind the cash registers for perhaps forty minutes, maybe longer. The two cashiers had ignored it. One of them had the stupidity to ask us if we still wanted it. We politely declined, and asked for a refund.

It was one of the worst dinners we have ever had there. We ordered the beef stew. It was a serious mistake. It was luke warm, and there was unchewable gristle in several pieces of the beef. We could not finish it, and we will not be ordering it again.

This place is very good! It is so authentic and the dishes are amazing! The staff will make your experience as good as you want it. If you need to add or take away something from a dish you can't eat they will costum make it specially for you! They are always so nice whenever I come in and the food is really good ~
