Linda's La Cantina Steak House-, Orlando

The BEST filet in the central Florida area, PERIOD! I always get it with a side of spaghetti. Their house salad dressing is also amazing. Try the coconut shrimp appetizer and the fried mushrooms too!!

For years I've been going to La Cantina and I in my opinion they have the most flavorful steaks and arguably the BEST steaks in Orlando. They cut their on steak in house and despite the change of chef in the kitchen the quality is still the same. They also have the best value for a good steak in town, you can get a huge steak for under $25 with a wide arrange of sides and salad. They have a great house red. The service is GREAT, Mark is the best server in the place and I recommend you ask for him. They are always receptive if your steak is not cooked to perfection. I have never had a bad meal here. I would recommend it to any and everybody. They get very busy on weekends around 7 to 8 so I would recommend you to call ahead or make a reservation. But earlier in the evening you should be ok. Again, definetely you will get your dollar worth here for a great steak!!!!!

A throw back restaurant - you get bread, salad and a side! Prices are reasonable, but quality is slipping from where it was. Went on Mother's Day and the kitchen was crushed and took a while to get our food out and then my steak (which tasted good) was overcooked.

I've been going to this steakhouse for 32-years and have always had a great meal. The steaks are fantastic! A much better value than is to be found at more upscale Del Friscos or Ruth's Chris. The side dishes are ordinary and the ambience is stuck in the 70's...but who cares? If you're a steak-lover, this is the best Orlando has to offer. The restaurant is a family business, and their pride shows in excellent service.

hey everybody out there who loves a great steak with an awesome setting to go out with some friends or on a romantic date with your lover this is the place to go. It can be a little pricy but you are paying for great food. I am a longtime customer who will continue going untill it shutts down which will never happen so they can keep me on as a satisfied returning customer.

Been to a lot of steak places. From out of state (Smith and Walinsky) to in state (Berns, Biltmore in Coral Gables) amd the taste and texture is tops. My favorite!

My family has been eating at La Cantina since it was a small house on the side of S.R. 50. The food has always been good, BUT. We are no longer stepping foot inside this junior high school atmosphere (noise). You have to yell at the person sitting at your table. We have been willing to overlook the ambiance and the terrible service in the past, however we are unwilling to endure the family member at the front door one more time. This woman is more suited for repossessing cars or wrestling alligators or maybe even being a guard at a woman’s prison. She certainly doesn’t need to have any contact with the customers. For the price you pay to get a steak she should be as sweet as honey to the customer. Well I guess it’s off to Charlie’s we go. Better food, kinder servers, and ambiance out the wazoo.

We won't be going back to Linda's La Cantina. Service was slow and unprofessional. Impression was they make most of their money on bar tabs. When you are sloshed maybe food seems better? I'd drive a few miles to Sam Selter's where presentation is better, atmosphere so much better, even the steaks are better -- not to mention the prices and that your business is appreciated. My advice -- skip Linda's and go to Sam Seltzers. Better all the way around -- food, service, value, ambiance -- and by golly they thank you for coming, too!

I have ate at every steak restaurant in Orlando from Del Frisco's, Ruth's Chris, and the like. Linda's steaks are usually better and the service is great. I've been in Orlando for 38 years and eat out 6 nights a week. If you are trying to impress the ambiance is not that fancy, but it's great for first dates.

You won't get a better steak for the price anywhere. Ambience in the lounge/bar has a romantically jazzy vibe and the food is excellent. Service needs a bit of a polish but it's superceeded by, once again, best flavored steak in town!
