Description

This fine French restaurant is located on a nondescript stretch of Orange Avenue better known for convenience stores than gourmet eateries. Inside, guests enter a world of romantic lighting, starched white tablecloths and excellent cuisine. You might begin with Onion Soup, topped with Gruyere cheese or an appetizer of phyllo dough stuffed with vegetables and cheese, and follow that with a grouper filet or a Black Angus steak.

Disney World would be quieter

I would not recommend this for a romantic setting. A party of 16 in a room with three couples who were seeking a romantic setting for Valentine's should not been allowed to happen. Management was more concerned with making money than providing a quiet setting for Valentine's weekend.

I just keep going back

Since the first time I ate at La Coq Au Vin 5 years ago, I keep going back because of the non-business-like environment. The design and hospitality feel just like home. No matter where I am in the world, every year I cannot help but return like I was visiting family.

My new favorite restaurant

The atmosphere is casual meets sophistication; I love the rooster/hen theme. The food is outstanding and the service is superb. I went for the first time two weeks ago and am going back tonight!

Great French food

I love Le Coq Au Vin, the atmosphere is really nice. I have been going there for several years now on different occasion. I have never been disappointed any time that i went there, and i'm looking forward to keep going. It's really romantic. The customer service is superb. It's just how French food should taste. I promise you, if you go there you will not regret.

Love the menu, presentation and the entire dining experience at this lovely out of the way venue......worth the effort and the cost for a pleasant evening. Do not let the Orange Ave. location trip you up.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant of all time. They are consistent and excellent in all areas. I have always had excellent food and service. The relaxed atmosphere and fabulous food always draw me back and never disappoints!

what else is need with their food, service, etc... its simply the BEST place to unwind and eat in orlando....i go 1-2 times per week....u r the best !
