Cafe Italiano Italian Restaurant, Orlando

One of the best Italian restaurants around! I live in California, but when I come to Orlando, I always make it a point to go to Cafe Italiano! James is a terrific host, I always feel welcome and the food is great! I feel like I'm back in time as a kid in New York going to the authentic Italian restaurants that really don't exist much anymore. The chicken parmigiana is the best!!

We have been going to Cafe Italiano for over 15 years Anne, Sal, & James are the best. The food is AWESOME. Penne ala vodka! Would reccomend this to anyone except the annoying abnoxious tourist!

My Husband and I have been going to Cafe' Italiano for more than 20 years now. It is the best Italian food in Florida, I should now I am Italian and Cafe Italiano creates dishes just as good as my Grandmother from Italy used to. If you haven't eaten at Cafe' Italiano, then you don't know what good Italian cooking is all about. Try it, you'll LOVE IT!

My husband has been going to cafe Italiano's for his birthday every year since he was 11 and just this past week, he turned 33! The food here is truely great but I have to say that the service we recieved recently, on my husbands birthday, was horrible! So horrible that after 30 minutes of no service what so ever we got up and left. What made it really sad is that it wasn't the busiest we've ever seen it. There were several empty tables as a matter of fact. I have written an email to the owner so I am curious if and how he will respond. I will repost and let you know.

The food is always excellent, but we were so impressed with the Cheesecake (which is made by Anne.) that we had her make our Grooms Cake for our Wedding.. They Raved about the Cheesecake...Thank you Anne....

Cafe Italiano reminded us of our favorite Italian restaurant that we always visited weekly here in our hometown until the owner died. We have missed their wonderful Italian food, but, lo and behold!!, we found another fabulous restaurant in Cafe Italiano!! The owners are just wonderful and we loved the food!! Thanks guys!!

This restaurant is great. The first time we went, it was a nice quiet evening with friends. The food was excellent and the manager came over to chat with us and make sure we had a good time. We've been back several times. The latest was for an engagement party. Our group was in a good size room for our party and the server was very good at being attentive. And of course the food is good too. The pizza is the best in Orlando. It makes for great leftovers, which is the true test for a great pizza. All the ingredients taste fresh and it's apparent that the sauces are made from an original recipe, not from the can. They also have a nice selection of wines to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I took my wife to Cafe Italiano last night for Valentine's Day. We experienced much the same as the previous couple reported... waited over an hour between the salad and dinner. Our waitress was as good as could be expected under the circumstances. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm. It seemed that the chef did not show up which caused the majority of the problems. Usually, this is a great place to have dinner. We have gone there numerous times in the past and this is the first time there was ever a problem. We will probably give it another try in the hopes that this was an isolated 'off night' for the restaurant.
