Garibaldi Mexican Restaurant, Orlando

the food is excellent, real mexican food made by mexican hands, the place is so nice and warm, but the service is terrible, you have to wait a lot for a simple soda refill, imagine when is a busy day!!! they should be more careful to the customer service, because is such a nice place ....

On the corner of highway 436 and highway 50 lies a quaint establishment with warm ambiance, great food, and outstanding service. The restaurant of which I speak could only be Garibaldi's. From it's mariachi band to it's authentic mexican cuisine, Garibaldi's offers all you could ask of a Mexian restaurant in Orlando, and more. For a light lunch, try the taco salad. If it is dinner you seek, go for the chimichanga. Niether will disappoint.

The service at this restaurant is HORRIBLE! I have had three bad experiences. The servers refuse to write anything down, and twice I have been given the wrong order. The servers tried to insist that is what I ordered. Since when did beef become chicken? Very rude service. The restaurant was also shut down by the health board temporarily. It is the Sentinel today 9/9/07.

My husband and I love this place. Be sure to tell them how you want the meat cooked though. Nachos Supremas, Enchiladas Supremas, Fajitas, Nachos, and fried cheese cake are great. And if you see the waitress with the long face just MAKE her smile. Enjoy!!!

My favorite item on the menu is the taco salad. The deeper you get into the salad the spicier it gets. The service left a little to be desired and the chips and salsa on the table were stale but you can request new if you aren't pleased. They have the best chicken soup I have ever had in my life.

Bar none...the best Mexican food in Otown!
