Hillstone Restaurant, Winter Park

Dining at Hillstone evokes the ease and sophistication of a polished restaurant with a laid back attitude. Make no mistake, they have big smiles and are cordial, but every detail is in place. It certainly does not reminisce of the old stiffer Houston Restaurant, but embraces a more modern inclusive attention to details, fresh local ingredients, and friendly but precise service. ME AND MY HUSBAND HAD A GREAT TIME, VERY NICE RESTAURANT, FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, BEAUTIFUL VIEW, A WAS A PERFECT DINNER WITH A NICE DESERT. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT..... I WILL RECOMMENDED TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

This place has gone down hill from the first time we went last year. They had a wonderful mashed potatos and now a stupid boring that everyone has baked potato. I only eat the filet mignon and it is good here but certanly not the best. Good place for lunch or a sunset watch.

My wife and I are new to Orlando but this was a great find. The place was very busy and we had to wait. This was a blessing because we sat outside on Adirondack chairs facing the lake and had a glass of wine. The steaks were good and the service was on par, we will be back.

Great service, excellent drinks and tasty food in a wonderful lakefront setting. I really liked the fries and please save room for dessert!

Grossly overpriced, food is average and sometimes too much food for the average person. It's only redeeming quality is the back veranda, which is a good place to watch the sunset and have a glass of wine.

I love steaks, but when I visit Houston's, I order straight for the Roast Beef Au Jus sandwhich which comes with a side of long, thin fries and horseradish sauce. Yeah, I think it's da bomb. It's 1st grade meat which is tender and moist, and the taste, while simple and basic, I find very tasty. You savor the taste and the texture of the meat. Of course, eating your food while looking out to a beautiful lake isn't such a bad idea either!

Anything u get here is out of this world! Would go here time and time again!

Sword Fish - A+ Steak C- They have the a fantastic lunch. Dinner is much better after several bottles of wine. But may still leave something to be desired...
