Just OK, and Kind of Pricey
I had tried this restaurant a few years ago when it first opened and was unimpressed. But recently I decided to give it a second chance and still am not totally sold. With a name like Crispers, you may think it's just salads like Sweet Tomatoes, but this restaurant is more like a Panera or Atlanta Bread Company. However, the interior is not as inviting as those establishments, and is more reminiscent of the old Piccadilly Cafeterias (you even get the little number to put on your table for the servers to bring your food). I got the soup and salad combo which is about a dollar more than Panera's. The soup (Potato Bacon) was great though it could have used more flavor. The Caesar salad was disappointing considering that the croutons had definitely seen better days. It's odd that Crispers is owned by the same company that owns Publix Supermarkets considering that I've gotten better lunches from the grocery store deli than from my two trips to Crispers.
