Garden Gate, Mt Dora

Everytime I visit Mt. Dora I have to eat lunch at this place. The salmon in puff pastry entree is absolutely delicious. I would give this place 5 stars.

I give the Garden Gate Tea Room 5 STARS not just for their food and ambiance but for their wonderful staff. I was a weary grumpy traveler from California who was humbled by the staffs sincere kindness. My server was Debbie M and my Hostess was Cindy. I had several family members with me. We had been on a mission to visit as many Tea Rooms while we were in Florida. I have a dream of opening a Tea room and you gals have set the bar really high. You are truly blessed and we were blessed to have shared some time with you. I want to thank all of the staff who came out and joined in the beautiful hem that was sang to us. I would also like to thank the lady who put up with me on the phone when I made the reservation,she had the patience of a saint. I cant wait to visit again.

I attended a bridal shower here and had a fabulous time! The oweners brought out vintage hats to wear while we had chicken salad and quiche and peach tea! My 3 year old loved wearing her pink hat with ribbons.

My daughter & granddaughter took me to lunch. Alison just had to show me how she could drink her raspberry tea like the English ladies. The food was delicious felt like I was in a storybook setting. I tell all my friends to go.
