Enzo's on the Lake
Enzo's on the Lake is the perfect place for a congenial evening of cocktails, fine food and wine, lavish desserts and very special hospitality. Whether you are entertaining for business or pleasure, having a birthday celebration or just a romantic dinner for two, we will do our best to keep you satisfied. In 1980, Enzo's on the Lake opened as a lovely secluded lakefront restaurant, built in the style of an Italian villa. The restaurant is dedicated to the idea of simple yet sophisticated cuisine. The freshest fish, meats, fruits and vegetables that can be obtained are woven into a menu that emphasizes a unique culinary heritage and diversity. An extravagant antipasto bar welcomes you to the excitement of the dining room overlooking the lake. There is a full service european style bar, private dining areas for meetings and parties and the lakeside gardens where many weddings concerts and gatherings take place. We look forward to serving you!
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food and service are the best. This restaurant makes me feel like I am back in Rome, where I lived for 10 years. The Best Pasta is Bucatini alla Enzo, really good pasta. Try it if you have never tried Bucatini, you will find it wonderful. Very good Veal dishes many different dish. True Italian cheese for a change in a restaurant. Wine list is excellent with some really good Italian Read and White wines. It is really a pleasurable experience to go to this restaurant.
Unless you are on an expense account lunch, find another restaurant. Enzos will charge you for every soda refill without letting you know - my friend & I had an almost 10 dollar soda charge. The sandwiches, which run around 11-12 dollars are on bread that is hard & seems like last night's left overs which are grilled w/ a little olive oil to freshen it up. My sandwich which was beef w/ melted cheese was served cold - should have been hot.
I have been to this restaurant before. The food was better then.
On a hot summer afternoon, the Coke charges certainly made me hotter - reason enough to find another fine dining establishment for a nice lunch. Next time I'll head to Seasons 52.
Wonderful...like going to Italy, without the plane ride. Have been going there from the beginning, and have been going ever since. You must experience it for yourself.
The food, the service, the best!
We actually stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. One very happy accident. We were there at night, so I can't attest to the view or gardens. The food and service, however, were out of this world. Our waiter was very attentive and informative, Enzo provided a couple of laughs, and the atmosphere felt like Italy. Between the 7 of us, we ate most of what was on the menu. It is not inexpensive, but not unreasonable. Our total bill was around $450 and that covered a few rounds of drinks, a variety of entrees and a couple desserts. We left with fully bellies and a very happy disposition.
If you are looking for true Italian fare, this is the place!
