Korea House Restaurant
In operation since 1982, Korea House Restaurant is considered the best of Orlando's few Korean restaurants. The food is inexpensive. The decor is also unpretentious but comfortable and inviting, consisting of 10 polished wood tables, a few rice-paper lanterns, and a checkerboard floor. Favorites include fried dumplings stuffed with vegetables and meat, Bulgogi (beef marinated in a garlic sauce), and tofu soup with spinach. You won't be disappointed with your meal here.
Couldn't believe the poor reviews from other diners. We have been going to this restaurant for years on end and NEVER had bad service. What's up? Food always fresh and hot. Have enjoyed many times the wonderful
cook yourself Korean BBQ - First rate.
I have been to this restaurant couple of times. Both went with girlfriends, we were happy and satisfied with our food. I highly recommend their Kalbi(my favorite) and their noodle dish. Trust me I’ve gone to every Korean restaurant in Orlando area and this place makes the best Kalbi I’ve ever had. It was perfectly cooked and goes well with their side dishes. You could spend quite a bit of money here but I feel ours was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Service was generally good, not excellent, due to lack English skills. Well.. I don’t think it’s bad at all as long as they provide good service and get my order right. Overall food was good, Service was fair. I would definitely eat here again.
BAD SERVICE. My family visited Orlando from Jacksonville and tried Korea House. The waitress serving us was so bad: rude, no service, no smile, no patient .. you name it all. (Don't get me wrong ... we saw another waitress servicing other customers was much better.)
Trust me! I dine out a lot. Compared to all other Korean restaurants I tried, I rate this restaurant below standard including food quality, food portion and service. Those famous side dishes are those cheap ones comparing other restaurants.
With that kind of price, I can find other Korean restaurants much better.
I went in with my friend for a takeout order and the waitress that took the order was very rude. I asked her name and she said her name was Esther. She is the young girl with the short brownish hair who doesn't smile or even speak. The owner needs to have a talk with her about her BAD attitude! The food taste good, the portions are not worth the price and once again the service there was HORRIBLE, they are RUDE!!
Considering the food, it wasn't worth the price. I ordered a huge take-out order and was less than impressed with what I payed when compared to what I got. My friends were impressed, but I think that had more to do with them not knowing what authentic Korean food should taste like.
