Great southern place with wonderful food and hospitality!

Excellent restaurant!!! Beautiful decor and attentive staff. When in the Ocala area, this place is a must. A favorite of mine with 'girls day out'. Be sure to order the raspberry tea. Super delicious!!!!

Truely a wonderful place to eat. Excellent food and service. The gift shop is wonderful too.

Food was very good unfortunately the service was very poor. People were standing at cashier stand when we arrived trying to get their checks to pay and leave. This continued thru our meals and soon we found ourselves doing the same. Then we were told ONLY OUR ASSIGNED WAITRESS COULD TAKE OUR MONEY so we waited longer. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. I think the only good reviews are from friends-family.... this place has lost it's way.

Food was good, service was horrible. Arrived at 11:30 for lunch and several things on days special were allegedly sold out but no one has apparently told the waitress. Waitress had too many tables to care for so probably not her fault that she had so little time to help us. Hostesswas pleasant but other young girl behind counter just sitting taking up space was rude, ugly and a real beeeeetch.

The hours of this restaurant are terrible, tried to call and check, but no answer on phone. Drove for 45 minutes just to be disappointed. Willbe a long time again till I drive this far to try this restaurant. Very upset!!!

Wonderful southern dining in this colorful turn of the century building. Eating at the Ivy House is both a treat for the stomach and a feast for the eyes. Be sure to bring your camera! You will enjoy the best southern style cooking in the whole of Florida!

Nice restaurant but, they are not able to handle large groups. I went with a group of 25 for lunch. We called in our order the day before and we still had to wait 45 minutes for our food. They never brought requested items, they only refilled drinks once, and we had to wait 45 minutes for our bill. 3 out of our group never got their order until everyone was done with their meal. In addition, they did not have the “specials” that we ordered the day before that they told us they would have. However, they did comp. the bill for the ones that received their order late and they didn’t charge us for our drinks as a discount. Their lunch menu is nothing extraordinary. With your meat you get a very small salad, a potato, roll, and small piece of cornbread. The prices were reasonable, but I left hungry. I would not recommend this place for lunch however; this seems like a nice place to go for dinner with a spouse. Just not for large groups.

I love The Ivy House! Their crispy chicken is sooooo good! It's fun to go and eat there and chat with other people you know.
