In this day and age it is very rare to find good customer service especially in a drive-thru, so when I had the pleasure of being served by Victoria this evening I was pleasantly surprised. She was perky and nice and everything that you could ask for from an employee. I ordered a seafood feast and a 30 shrimp meal with french fries and corn on the cob as sides. I was given a bag and a drink then Victoria had to take another order in the drive-thru. Another employee took over handling my order and handed me another bag and told me that was my entire order and to have a nice evening. I looked at the four containers that I had and saw another bag on the counter, so I asked the employee are you sure that’s it? He said yes that’s everything, and I went on my way. I drove home approx 30 min. away and started feeding dinner to my hungry family. The first thing that my husband said as he opened all the containers was “where is my corn? Why didn’t you get more fish? This is not going to feed us.” When I looked at the bag I saw that we only had 4 pieces of fish and no corn on the cob. So I picked up the phone and called the restaurant. I spoke with Victoria and she apologized for the error and said she would get the manager for me to speak with. I then sat on hold, according to my cell phone I was on the phone for 7 min 57 seconds without speaking to a manager. Victoria apologized, took my phone number, order number and said that the manager would give me a call back when she could. I told her that I would drive back into town and pick up the food that was missing from my order. I drove back into town and Victoria greeted me as I came in and immediately got the manager Anita. All that I can say for Anita is that she is the rudest employee that I have met outside of McDonald’s. Anita told me that she had heard about my phone call but that I should have waited for her phone call before coming down to the restaurant because she personally made my food and the fish and the corn were the first things that she packed. She then said that she could not give the food to me because I failed to bring my receipt even thou I had given all my information to Victoria before I came down to the restaurant. In the end after about 20 min in the restaurant, the only food that I was given was the corn on the cob that was missing from my order. I had to stop on the way home at KFC I get a bucket of chicken since we did not have enough fish to feed everyone. I am far from pleased from my visit and will make to let a few people know. A business professor once told me that when you make a customer happy they will tell 3 people and when you make them unhappy they will tell 50, especially when you run across such rude and uncaring managers such as Anita.
