great-------just ask the locals. went every night there except first night....didn't know better. Eric and Alberto are both great, food was excellent....wife had seafood both nights-great [she said best she had ever tasted]. I had burgers one night and steak the next...both wonderful.

This restaurant was better than expected. When we arrived the wait was 45 minutes so we decided to just eat at the bar. Sean the bartender was awesome. When it took a little too long for our appetizers to get to us he went into the kitchen himself and got them. The Chili is Awesome, Mango Margaritas are to die for, stuff shrimp is fantastic and the Cajun burger is delicious! I would recommend everyone try this place out!

the place was excellent our waitress was very freindly and fun the food was top notch and very filling with left overs i highly recommend anyone visiting pensacola with an appatite at a very acceptable price to eat here from the ice tea to the dipping sauces im going back tomorrow.

Peg leg Pete's: There are a lot of people that either 1.) Love to drink or 2.) HAVE NO IDEA what good food is or taste like! I am guessing that the atmosphere is the ONLY thing that attracts people to this business. -The beer tasted as if the lines to the keg had not been flushed since the doors opened! -The shrimp appetizer was so tough I could not drive a nail through it and the chef thought it a good idea to cover it with crab stuffing which turning out to be bread crumbs, paprika, and crab flavoring which had been slighty warmed! -The OYSTER sampler might as well have been a Meat lover's pizza from Pizza Hut because that is what all of the different styles of oysters taste of! -THANK GOD we did not go for the full meal but still managed a 45.00 dollar tab!! One beer and a mixed drink! CRAZY!! Dont waste your time or money!!! Have a beer at home a pick up some oysters from you local seafood market...You will have a better time, meal and save money!! COME ON PCOLA...THIS IS NOT SEAFOOD AT IT's BEST!

The food here was really good! We had the yellowfin dip - it had a nice fresh taste and excellent flavor. My friend had the Gumbo and liked it. I had the Mixed Grill and it was my favorite meal that I had in all of Pensacola. The Key Lime Pie was also very good. My only complaint is that the dining room was very cold - even people at the next table agreed with us. I said something to our waitress and she just kinda rolled her eyes and walked away (she acted like she hated her job). So we asked someone else and he said he'd tell the manager but they didn't do anything about it - the air conditioning and three fans were all blowing as hard and fast as they could (and it's just March). But the food is wonderful - just bring a jacket.

The absoultly best resturant for fried oysters. My wife had the Grouper sandwich and she said it was excellent. We have been there twice in two years and Peg Leg Pete's has never let us down. It is a local favorite for those who want to try something new.

This place is the best! I love everything on the menu. I am a local and consider my self a seafood expert... try the baked Parmesan oysters if you like oysters... or the grouper supreme blackened is great.... and if you don't like seafood ... they also have a great french dip and a good club.. also you have a choice of inside or outdoor dining.... normally they also have pretty quick service even if there is a wait ... try the bar down stairs with a sitting area and a pretty neat play ground. also a reason I think my family enjoyed it so much while I was growing up is that there is a dock out back so u can come tie up the boat and have lunch or dinner.
