the most overpriced overhyped restaurant in florida. don t waste your time or money

We are from New Orleans and finding good food is not always easy. We found it tonight at the Louisiana lagniappe resturaun in Destin. The food was AMAZIING! We had the bisque, lobster ran goons as appetizers, eggplant Orleans, and Oysters Lagniappe. Everything was great and the service and atmosphere were excellent. We found a new favorite in Destin.

I've been eating here for about 20 years and still think they offer the best food in Destin. The Papion in Parchment special is incredible but many regular menu items are quite good as well. It may be difficult to find but is well worth the effort. Expect a long wait in season.

My boyfriend and I ate here during our vacation in July 2009. We used call ahead seating (which was very helpful), and we were were seated immediately outside on the deck by the boat docks! The server was very polite, and the food was absolutely AMAZING!! We shared an appetizer of crab cakes, which were very large, and very filling. My boyfriend ordered Crab Stuffed Shrimp and I ordered Twin Lobster Tails, We shared each other's entrees, and it was so delicious!! I am normally not a seafood eater, but the seafood was so fresh, and I LOVED it! I definantly recommend everyone to go to this restaurant, as long as your comfortable paying a little more for good seafood!!

Visited twice, food was good thought it couild be better, will give it another try

I was thrilled to attend the grand re-opening of Louisiana Lagniappe after a major renovation. You wouldn't believe you were in the same restaurant. It was beautiful. Very warm and inviting with the same awesome food and service. The interior design is top notch by a local designer. Custom art was done by a local artist that relocated here from New Orleans. It is a must if you are in Destin. The bar is much larger and every table has a view of the beautiful Destin sunsets over the harbor. What a treat!

I've been coming to this restauraunt for over 10 yrs and never had a bad meal. The portions were just right and the prices are very good compared to the other places in town that aren't of the quality of this place. It's a must go place

The Louisiana Lagniappe in Destin, Fl. is our favorite restaurant. We have always had excellent service. The food is like nothing I have ever eaten. Cajun delicious! We have been going to the Lagniappe since 1994. Although closed one year due to hurricane damage, when we returned the following year, it was like coming home. Dinner outside with the sunset over the harbor is doubly romantic. This is a MUST Stop along the Emerald Coast!

The food was overpriced and terrible. The Shrimp Ettoufe was especially disappointing since it was the reason we picked this place (my daughter loved the ettoufe she had in new orleans). The waitress was argumentative when my daughter pointed out that the meal wasn't even the correct color. It tasted like worshteshire sauce added to a cream sauce,it was white. The $27 steak I ordered was worse than the breakfast steak you get with steak and eggs, thin and fatty. The atmosphere was as cheesy as the fake ettoufe. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this restaurant. There are so many other great places in Destin.
