Fudpucker's-Destin Beachside, Destin

Please don t waste your time or money!! I went sat 6/2/12 with 3 of my girlfriends. The food was nasty and very greasy! It made 3 of us nauseous! The seats were uncomfortable and the service was pathetic! There were too many customers so the service was very inadeqaute! And to top of everything the staff apparently need some trianing when it comes to dealing with customers money! They screwed up 2 of our tickets that were being paid by debit card. One ticket was for $32.91and the other for $15.88(mine). Some how the waitress & manager managed to mix up our tickets not one but 7 times. She came back to our table 5x trying to fix it but still never fixed it! The finalization ticket I signed off on before leaving the resturant was for 20.00$ (after feeling bad and leaving her a 4.12$ tip) but after getting back to our hotel that night and checking my bank statement online my card had been ran 6 times(and for some reason 6 different amounts) totaling 176$!! Of course I called and spoke with the manager but she wasn t any help besides me telling her to get her boss to call me the next day! So Sunday6/3/12 the general manager called me and told me that the finalization he saw for me was for 32.91$! Not the 20$ I had actually signed my name to!!! He said he was going to refund me the 32.91$ but i m still waiting to see it on my account. Of course they were very apologetic but she should have never ran my card that many times with out being sure it was correct. If I only had a certain amt in my account they would have really messed me up! I m trying to patiently wait on a resolution to their screw up which I was told may take 3-5 business days.

I don't get what the bad reviews are about? We went to the one in Destin. Went straight to a table no wait time what so ever. The service was just great. The girl was very upbeat and friendly. The food was GOOD and reasonablly priced. The entire staff was alert and attentive. Granted it was during the off season. I recomend the place.

william&melissa - That's You - 04/14/11 (Delete) We went on April 12, 2011 for dinner. The kids was so happy to know that they could get to hold a gator. We was seated and no body came to our table at all. We noticed people that came in after us was getting their drinks and had their oder's taking. We still didn't get any service. So we decided to leave. What really made us mad was the girl told us to have a nice day. After seeing us come in 15 minutes ago..... We will not go back...By the way it was so funny because most of the people in there was white. My husband is white but, since he is married to a black woman, he got the same treatment like he was black.

This place is AWFUL. We went to the one in Destin and were told it would be a 45 minute wait, which is not good with a 2 year old, but we decided to stick it out. After an hour we checked and they said 20 more minutes, so we waited. After 25 minutes we checked again because we had not been called and she said 20 more minutes. I asked how many parties were ahead of use and she said 18!!! We left and went down the road to Jim and Nick's BBQ and they took such good care of us and the food at Jim and Nicks was great. I say go to Fudpuckers to check out the Gators and then go to Jim and Nicks to eat some good food. The prices at Fudpuckers are too high anyway. It's a tourist trap.

My kids wanted to go to Fudpuckers..I had heard some good and some bad...the alligators are what draw people to the restuarant..the food wasn't all that great! I really doubt if we go back, it's just not what people think it is!

I was not impressed by this place. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. It IS VERY PRICEY!. I understand the tourist thing and all, but I think $8.00 for a bowl of spaghetti o's is a bit much. I can get steak here for that! This was in 2005 and I don't plan going back

I have a 13 y/o and a 7 y/o and they both love it there, they think it is very fun. None of us think the food, or the drinks, are very good and it is a bit over priced. I think the arcade could have a few more games and the play area, while very fun, could be bigger but again, the kids quite enjoy it.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The food is disgusting and they will rip you off!! The short of it.. 1.) mother-in-law ordered her burger well done. Got a rare burger. She does not send food back so she just ate her frys. 2.) Found dead insects in food. Complained to mgr about the bugs and the burger. He apologized and offered to give my 5yo a free desert. Declined ended up getting a 10.00 off next meal voucher. what a joke, as if we would ever go back. 3.)Figured it was the kitchen/mgr and not the server so I tipped 15.00. ($70 bill) 4.) Checked my account today and they ran my card for the total including tip then again for 15.00 tip.
