First I will say my food was cold and tasted awful. The rice had no flavor and the beans were watered down to the point that they spread across my whole plate. I've never seen refried beans do that.
I asked to speak to the manager and was told by our waiter that she and Oz (the smokin oz bbq guy?) were in the office with the doors locked and that her employees know not to bother her there. I felt this was a little too much information from the waiter but I waited for her despite our (so far) bad experience. After sitting there about 20 minutes she approached our table extremely drunk. As we tried explain about our food she would interupt us never finishing her sentences but for some reason we couldn't get two words out. We decided to just leave and after paying our bill we walk out and there she is cursing at the top of her lungs with a big tall drink in her hand.
Don't go to this place especially with your family.
DANGER!!! Will Robinson!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!! I have eaten at MANY Mexican Restaurants but this one... TERRIBLE!!! My husband will eat anything but this junk looked like dogfood and I would not feed it to my dogs.
Wow the place is WONDERFUL!!!!! I will admit that before when the restaurant changed hands it went down quite a bit. The plates were cold and the margaritas weren't so hot. My husband and I decided to give it another shot after a few years I admit and it is rockin' good again. The food is hot and delicious... I had the chili rellenos and I dont know what was done but they are the best I have EVER had....I think they are actually grilling the peppers instead of using canned or frozen stuff. Oh and the margaritas were so strong I had to get a little extra mix to dilute it or I wouldnt be able to drink it. My husband of course didnt complain he took his the way it was hahaha. Oh speaking of him he had the fajitas...steak and shrimp. WOW I tried them and they rocked. The steak was cooked to order and tender and the shrimp was sauteed nice and golden brown. I think some of you past reviewers ought to give it another shot!!!! I am definately a new follower!!!!!
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL--8 of us went there after work to eat. Took for ever for someone to figure out that they should wait on our table. Then we notice everybody that worked there was to busy drinking. One order BBQ and it was sent back because of it sitting around so long and reheated to many times. Bought out more BBQ and it was real stuff, to stuff to eat. 7 of us got mexican food to eat and 7 of us left 7 plates of mexican food full. I don't know where the food came from and how old it was, but it was bad very bad. We all got up and left and said something to the owners and it was like WHO CARES.
This use to be my fav mexican rstrnt.....until last night. When you eat chicken enchiladas you are NOT suppose to bite into bones. After spitting out five bones my boyfriend stopped eating his dinner. I had one large bone in my enchilada. The rstrnt recently started selling barbeque...I think this is their mistake. Not only did our enchiladas have bones the chicken tasted like left over chicken from the barbeque. Los Pancho's stick to one type of food. I do not plan on going back........Old El Paso rstrnt I have returned...sorry I ever left.
Friendly staff, not very great service. I belive we had an fairly new or just slow waiter. Other then that, this would not be my place of choice for Authentic Mexican food or good margaritas. I was served a margarita in a wine glass. Not very impressed.
My all-time favorite has always been the Deluxe Burrito. Since the restaurant changed hands, the burrito has NO flavor at all, nor do the refried beans and rice. We went to the restaurant (for the last time) tonight and two hours after opening, they were totally out of guacamole....a Mexican Restaurant without guacamole!!!
Cheese enchiladas are tops w/ yellow cheese and awesome chili sauce. Panchopias are the best desert in this part. Call ahead for times open. They have limited lunch and dinners. Great guacamole also! We drive from Pensacola an hour just to eat here!
