Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, Fort Walton Beach

Go there for dinner every now and then. Me, wife and 2yr old, price around 20-25. Fast service. Sweet tea is great, and the styrofoam cups always allows you to take it to go when your done. The pulled pork sandwich is great. Awesome flavors from the rub and smoke. The bun is a regular hamburger bun. The ribs were very dry, but had a lot of smoke flavor. Definately not one of my favorites. The coleslaw is a little better than average, but nothing to brag about. The french fries were good, but the were very similiar to the big bag of fries you buy from sams club. The banana pudding is awesome, but get your own because you won t feel like sharing. :) Overall, great taste and price for a fast food bbq Would recommend this for travellers and locals alike.

I am from the south - and what Sonny s calls brunswick stew is not. It has was too many tomatoes, and taste like baked beans with other beans ground up together. I highly recommend the stew from Kinfolks - it s almost truly southern.

You always get a good bbq meal at Sonny's and the service is quick and good. I love the baby back ribs!

A great place for BBQ in the local area. Being a military family, we've been stationed all over the South and were happy to have a BBQ place to go to right in the neighborhood. We always get the Feast For Four but they always give so much of the meat that it easily feeds all 6 of us with plenty of leftovers.

We went for all you can eat bbq ribs. It was good. They have different bbq sauces to choose from. The kids enjoyed their selves too. They have lots to choose from on the kids menu for the kids. Our waitress was friendly. All and All A+ We had excellent service. :)
