Our family loved the MOB. We were vacationing in Pensacola and were looking for a place the locals hang out. We were not disappointed. The oysters were great, but we especially loved the grilled fish and the crab claws--yummy. This place was full every night we visited and the staff was very friendly. Don't expect fancy--just good food.

What a pleasant experience to eat at the MOB last night. In addition to a delicious dinner (wife had shrimp, I had oysters) we so enjoy the friendly nature of this place.

Small, family and locally owned but the fish is awesome. Don't expect fancy, just good food and a nice view of the water.

Just got back from eating there and was very disappointed with the food. I had a seafood platter, cup of gumbo. The gumbo was good but the fried seafood was tasteless, side items new potatoes, and steamed veggies were overcooked. The breading for the seafood had no flavor and it was pretty obvious the grease needed to be changed cause the food looked overcooked.

Always ate at the Marina Oyster Barn when I lived in P'cola too and it is ALWAYS my first stop when I go home. As soon as I leave the airport I head there for lunch or dinner!!!! The cheese grits are to die for and dozens of raw oysters, of course!!!!! Yummo!!! What else is there? Crab claws are delish too.

One of our favorite local restaurants. Will return often.

It's located on the water overlooking Bayou Texar with a dock for boat tieup and lounging. A local favorite where friends meet and visit. Food is excellent and value is tops. Enjoyed my visit and will return.

See Ya in September
By ,
I ate at the marina when I lived in P'cola and every time I go back for a visit, I try to eat there again. Missed out last Thanksgiving as they were still cleaning up from Ivan. All my family in P'cola know that the Marina is always first on my list of places to eat, as the food is teriffic. So, on my way from the airport in September, guess where I'll be eating lunch????

Never a disappointment!

Everytime we're in Pensacola, we can't wait to get to the Marina. It has good food at a great price, and the banana pudding is excellent! The setting, food, service, and value are all wonderful. And not to mention, it's withstood all the hurricanes so far!
