My family has been eating Dan D Donuts for over 40 years. Longer, I guarantee, than any other family. I can say that confidently because my Grandfather, Leland Ray Dunn, started the little donut shop back in 1965. He and my Grandmother, Bebble, named the place after my father, Dan Dunn and it's been rockin' ever since! Granddaddy bought that old donut trailer off the beach and planted it in a car lot on Harrison Ave across from Bay High School. Turns out that wasn't such a bad location!
'Tis a sacrilege for us to go to Panama City and not come home with a box of fresh Bizmarks! That's our favorite. Plenty to choose from though, and you're sure to find your own fav. Portions are huge, fillings are generous, and everything is made fresh.
Granddaddy and Grandma have passed on now and Dad lives in Georgia but the place still bears his name. The family that bought it from mine is still running the place and they're still doing it the same way my folks did 40 years ago, top notch! If you want it fresh and you want it tasty and you want it right, go to Dan-D-Donuts. You'll come back...I guarantee it.
Tell 'em the Dunn's sent you!
