Nice small comftorable place. One word...disapointment. Went for lunch on a Thursday. We got our seats as soon as we sat. Ordered immediately, and then spent 55 minutes of our our lunch break waiting for our sushi. Apparently they messed up our order, I get it...it happens, but they could of told us there was a problem. 55 minutes, seriously. Could of made it my self at least four times. So now I'm back in my office eating my sushi since we ran out of time. How is it you may ask. I would of been more satisfied if I made a ham and cheese andwich with the stale bread. Boo for Jasmines!!! Yeay for Wendey's!

Jasmine's is a good...

Jasmine's is a good value for your money. It's not the best sushi restaurant in Florida, but it's location is convenient and the price is right. Arrive early on Friday night otherwise you'll be sitting for a long time with tons of college students waiting for a table.

Jasmine has one thing going for it: It's cheap. Unfortunately, it's cheap because the food is poor quality. If you've had really good sushi, you probably won't enjoy what Jasmine offers. We ordered two rolls as appetizers. One arrived quickly. After tasting it (cold, hard, flavorless), we asked the waitress not to bring out the other. I ordered the fried rice, assuming it was a safe bet. I was wrong... The rice was an mushy, glutinous lump, and the vegetables had been cooked to a mush as well. I will say the service was fine, and the waitress was very nice. But next time a sushi craving strikes, I'm not going to cheap out. I'd rather pay more and have a good meal.

As a recent transplant to Tally, I knew nothing of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of our waitress. My lunch date and I started with a California roll and then Spin Dip. Both were great. The sushi was fresh and well-presented. The Spin Dip was something that I am comfortable with. I have yet to meet a Spin Dip I haven't liked. I must say that the Chicken and Brie sandwich was incredible. As was the Chicken Supreme my date had. I have without a doubt found a favorite here in Tally. Kudos Jasmine!

Terrible service! The worst in town!!
By ,
Don't try to call this place if you're hungry and want food the same day! They rarely answer the phone and when they do, they are rude. Not to mention you will age 2-4 years before your food arrives! I have never had such a horrible experience with a restaurant! Get out of Tallahassee!

2 times a week.

I go to Jasmine Cafe about two times a week. I dine in once probably and take out the other times. If I could afford it, I would probably go everyday. The sushi is good, the prices are good and it is always yummy.

Jasmine a "Jem" & Jenny Too
By ,
Super sushi hangout with great karma; homemade gyoza, sweet hot sake, and lots of fun people (Jenny makes it happen!); creative sushi rolls; wonderful spot to socialize in low key ambiance; great for business lunch or casual dining; staff attentive; a place you'll want to go again and again.

bad choice..
By ,
I went to jasmine's with my friends, it was just awful. We went there on friday, we didn't get seated for about 2 hrs. Waiters seemed doesn't really care about customers. So we finally got seated, but it wasn't worth it. Sushi rolls (makimonos) were falling apart due to lack of stickiness. I should have looked at these reviews...
