LA Fiesta Mexican Restaurant, Tallahassee

Best Mexican food I have ever had! They recently remodeled their deck, and its nicer then ever. The Bistec a la Mexicana is spicy and delicious! Every time Im in town I have to stop by, grab a bite, and take some of their cheese dip home to go with me!

the grilled chicken tacos are the best tacos I've ever had in my life. The flavor is sooo good, then to top it off with the queso they give you...it will make you slap yo momma!

Once THE Mexican restaurant in town, located on Capital Circle near Calico Jacks. Then they branched to the Parkway and shut down the Cap Circle location. Years later the moved to The Mill Restaurant's old building on the Parkway. Around this time we started to see more Mexican restaurants open in town. And around this time service started to slip. Gone are the days of smiling Hugo and water glasses refreshed before they're even empty. In all fairness, you'll get the occasional attentive wait staff and your experience will be fine. Still, their fried chicken with cheese is one of my favorite dishes in town. (I realize fried chicken isn't exactly Mexican, but have you ever been to a restaurant in Mexico that has a menu like most Mexican restaurants in the states? I didn't think so)

I like La Fiesta because they are not quite as Tex-Mex as some - more authentic Mexican. For example, their salsa can actually be (spicy) hot! Best chips and salsa I've had. Cold beer. Very good service. This is a family favorite. Never had a bad meal there.

The Mexican Chicken is great and the frozen Margaritas are the best in town!!! The food and drinks are very affordable. They have 2 for 1 Margaritas all day on Sunday and Monday evenings.

I go to La Fiesta Mexican restaurant very frequently. The food is great. The service is great and the price is right. I also, always get my food hot which is very important to me. The service is very reliable and I have never had to wait to get a table more than ten minutes. This is a great Mexican restaurant that I highly recommend. Also, if you look around, you can find coupons for this restaurant which makes it more worth it. PROS: hot good food CONS:

The food is yummy. Service is fast, fast enough for a timed lunch. The menu is HUGE, so many choices! The salsa is awesome.

I go about once a week and get the Mexican grilled chicken. Not your typical Mexican restaurant.

We had the Chimmy, and a Burrito combo meal. It was tasty, hot,filling and very affordable. The Beef Chimmy is shredded beef, the Chicken Chimmy is Chicken not substituted by turkey like many other Mexican restaurants. The appetizer salsa was great. Margarita's were too.

I just revisited this restaurant and was very pleased with the overall experience. The service was quick and thorough, the food was great, and the margaritas were strong! I highly recommend La Fiesta. Go during happy hour for great food and drink specials.
