Third Street Diner, Jacksonville Beach

Went by this A.M. @ 9:30 for breakfast. My wife s omlet was missing the cheese, and looked like it lost a war. My pancakes were burned on the bottom, and it took 45 minutes to get our food. New cook, per waitress. Cook flunked omlets 101, and pancakes 101. Do yourself a favor, eat elsewhere.

Dismiss the bad reviews. BEST HAMBURGER in all of Jacksonville, and I am not a hamburger person. My husband is.. Had the Greek Hamburger.. It was Succulent! Everything we tasted was excellent. Our server was great, Ms. Sophia ( Assistant Mgr or Owner) was really nice. We were so happy with the food, service, the cleanliness, that we are taking 15 members of our family there this week end (nov. 13, 2011) for a celebration . Will be traveling from the Mandarin area where there are lots of breakfast places. 3rd St. Diner worth the travel. We give it 10 stars +

Ate breakfast here Sunday December 5th 2010. I loved the place. Great food and service. Drove by the place and the parking lot was full. Good indication that people like the place. They had CNN on tv and asked if they could change the station to Sports Center if no one was watching it, done in like 1 minute. Needed to get my football score updates! Thanks. Its like a 50's diner. I liked the decor and colors of the place. Unable to eat their freshly made pastries as I was too full from my breakfast. 5 Stars from me!

3rd street diner is not recommended unless you like eating at a place where you hear screaming and yelling and cursing.The owner wont think twice at screaming at the customers too.He thinks hes a decendant from GOD by the way my server was acting as he yelled at her through the dining room until she burst into tears and went to the back.Followed by more screaming and cursing(the whole dining room could hear).I felt sorry for the poor girl.It was her first day out of training and she was by far the best server we had gotten there yet.I am pretty sure she was fired because an older lady with an attitude continued waiting on us and we never seen that little girl again.I will never ...NEVER...eat there again and I hope that the owner is looked into on his conduct.No employee should ever be treated the way she was and legal actions should follow.I have no respect for the owner of that place and for ANYONE who reads this that supports his actions.DO NOT ENTER THE 3RD STREET DINER(UNLESS YOU ARE GREEK OF COURSE)!!!!!!!! MY HEART GOES OUT TO ANY AND ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE 3RD STREET DINER OF J.A.X BEACH.

Very good Greek food. Try the Greek sampler if this is your first visit. The restaurant is typically open until about 1am at least. The deserts are made on site. Careful the custard pie is habit forming.

They have good breakfasts. Good food. Very clean.
