Cha Chas is very good! I get the chicken chimichanga and my fiancee gets the chicken fajitas...Their service is always fast and the food is always fresh everytime we go and the chips and salsa taste good every time to me we go usually every friday :)

When we want Mexican, we go to Cha Cha's. We were in Mexico this past winter & the Mexican restaraunts there were disappointing compared to Cha Cha's--right here in the good USA!

I'm from Los Angeles and I've been to Mexico several times. I've eaten good Mexican food, and this was not it. I hope that this is not the best Mexican food Jacksonville has to offer. I cannot believe how many positive reviews this restaurant has received. Either people in Jacksonville have no idea what Mexican food is supposed to taste like, or they are incredibly cheap and want to eat at the least expensive restaurant they can find.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten in! Definitely the best in Jacksonville. =) The service was fast and VERY attentive and the food is insanely cheap for how awesome it is. It's not too spicy and it's fresh. Even my boyfriend (who was complaining about the appearance of his meal because he couldn't tell what it was) took one bite and agreed it was the best he ever had. I could eat here once a week for the rest of my life and be happy. Anyone who says this place isn't great must not be a fan of authentic Mexican as it is very different from Tex Mex. The only place that tops Cha Chas in my book is the San Angel Inn in Disney's Mexico (Epcot) and it is easily three to four times the price.

The first sign we should have paid attention to was that the restaurant was empty on a Friday at 12:45 pm. We sat down, someone came over, threw the menus on our table and walked off. No hello, nothing. The chips and salsa were mediocre. The salsa tasted almost like medium Pace Picante. All in all, I could have made the same food at home. Also, they never came back for drink refills or to check and see if everything was ok.

i love cha chas mexican its so good they have the best tacos and tamalies every thing comes out hot hot which is perfect they really care about thier coustomers

It was way good Mexican food. I found the restaurant from this site and it lived up the reviews. I have had better chips but the salsa was SOO good and so was my meal. And I guess you can't complain about free chips. The ambiance was kinda blah but don't be fooled. The restaurant was very clean and good service. It was suprisingly not very busy...considering it was great food and not very expensive.
