Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, Jacksonville

Bleh, just came from there. Thought I would try out the special on the marquee that I had passed a few times. OMG! - so bad, cold green beans that must have been microwave reheated about 50 times - rubbery and tasteless.The chicken had that gooey fat all over it. The sliced pork was dry and bland. The sauce was too thick and sweet. I couldn't finish any of it and felt nauseous before I even left the restaurant. I still feel sick to my stomach and hour later. Paid $30 for two people to get sick. I will never, never go back there. Don't waste your time or money or health!

I think sonnys is the best bbq chain in the south. Sonnys is always good. Not as good as some down home local places but definitely the best chain.
