Applebee's, Jacksonville

Love this place! I've been living near this location for several years now, and I've NEVEr been disappointed by the service nor the food. Everything's really nice and all lavatories are kept very clean.

My family and I went here, for the first time in a couple of years. We really had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves. First off, and most importantly, the food was fabulous. Some of the best of it's kind around. Perfectly cooked, and generous servings make it worth the prices. The service was good. We went there when it first opened for lunch on a weekend and so the wait staff was most likely more attentive than if the place was packed. The decor is great in this location. Instead of a lot of generic vintage cast offs (like many similar places), this one had souveniers from local high school football teams up front and center and from local universities and, of course, the Jaguars. It gave the appearance of being more locally friendly and less like a mass commercial chain. We will be back - and not just because no other place like this will build in the Westside!
