We've been frequenting Players Grille for about a year now, it is nice and convenient, the food is good and the TV's at the booths work out great for families. We noticed that there is quite a large gathering of Trivia players who do quite well and frequently get the restaurant placed in the top 10-20 sites.
I would say that probably 90% of the staff is great, the other 10% not so much. Rose, the co-owner, is very friendly when there. Her husband - George, always seems to have a scowl on his face. In the year that we have been going, he has only spoken to me once, most of the time he just walks by without even a smile. We are putting money into his business/future - how about treat the customers like they mean something. I will say, though, that he appears to be friendly to the folks at the bar - I guess they bring in the bigger tab. Not everyone is drinkers - if if all you care about is the drinkers, than shame on you!
..try the wings - they are great!
