Cross Creek Steakhouse & Ribs
Experience a taste of Old Florida at Cross Creek Barbeque and Steakhouse, fishcamp style located a mile south of I-10 on the west side of Jacksonville. Here you dine on casual, family style-food and barbecue, cooked slowly and topped with plenty of spicy sauce. Try the chicken wings a million ways (beer breaded, babyback style, hot, honey mustard, Cajun, ranch), gator bites served with dipping sauce, or crispy zucchini sticks. Generous salads and soups are available, but it is the barbecue that counts: sticky, sweet babyback ribs, spare ribs, pork, chicken and beef are served with side orders of baked beans, French fries, fried okra or coleslaw. There is a full service bar and children's menu. There is also another Cross Creek Steakhouse on Jacksonville's Northside .
Love your food. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix your website. For over two weeks whenever you go to it, it's some Japanese wedding planner site or something. Weird. I asked a friend about it and she said it's been like that forever. FIX PLEASE!!!
AWESOME place. We had a family reunion last year and originally ordered food from Golden Corral on Normandy Blvd, but they totally screwed up the quotes given and we decided to come to these guys. GREAT food! GREAT service! They took care of everything. We came back in for more wings later on on the same, and they hooked us up w/ a discount 4 givin em so much business in one day. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The wait is well worth it!
I went here a few days ago. I usually go to the on location on Lem Turner Road, and I wish I had gone there this time. The wait time wasn't bad actually, but that was the only good thing. I was seated, my waiter didn't greet me I still don't know her name. She didn't mention any specials; I felt very rushed with my order. She waited on a few tables around me, and I watched how she actually took her time with other customers and overheard her tell them specials. When my food finally arrived it was under-cooked, it was replaced with no problem. But before I could finish eating my bill was brought to the table. I had order the all you can eat shrimp; I wasn't offered another plate, nor was I offered any dessert. I felt I was being put out. At this point I'm already upset about the poor service I was received so I just paid for my meal. When my waitress brought my receipt, it was basically threw at me. If she had any shot at getting a tip she blew it with that. This was the worst experience I have every had at any restuarant. I will NEVER go there again, and I strongly don't recommend this location to anyone.
We don't live in Jax but have eaten there when in town for Dr appts...always excellent food, although sometimes the service is a little sketchy. Not their fault I think, just SO busy at lunch time. Would highly recommend it!
Awful! Why is this place open? We went there as I had always seen
it stayed busy. So we decided it would be worthwhile to try. Don't! The sitting time and wait staff were horrible! When we
finally got the food(hahaha)it was practically thrown on the table.
No tip for you! We would never recommend or go back.
I went into Cross Creek today for lunch for the first time. I sat at the bar. The bartender Deonna was very busy and let me know that she would be with me in just a second always smiling not a minute later she was there. Drinks great! Great 2-4-1 drink special! my boyfriend had the Cheesy Creek Chicken and I had a Ribeye which the bartender told us that was her two fav things on the menu YUMMY! As the bar slowed down and she came over to talk to us about the food she was very helpful and know alot about the history of the restaurant!
My first time at the Lane Ave. site and the food was excellent, the service was good and the $8.95 platter sampler was a meal for two so when the steak and shrimp came ( $15.99 ), they too were outstanding, tasty and succulent and juicy, but too much to eat so they boxed it for us and we will eat it tonight.
