Small and Cozy
The place is very small, only about 10 tables. We went early (5:30) on a Friday evening and only two other tables were full. It seemed very family friendly, with a boy (related to the staff I think) watching Nickolodeon on a nearby TV. A couple of people filed in for takeout, and everyone seemed to know each other, like they go there all the time. I had the impression of just eating at someone's house. The decor was simple, the food was simple, but seemed quite authentic. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The only drawback was that he apologized that the regular chef was out, and no beignets were available. All sorts of colas from Jamaica are available.
