I am absolutely shocked at the les than stellar reviews. We have eaten here twice in a month. The food was wonderful both times. The service was pleasant and efficient. Since each pizza is made totally from scratch, it takes a little longer but is so worth the wait.
I live down the road from this restaurant and have never eaten there...now that I have I would never recommend this place to anyone. I had chicken alfredo and it looked and tasted like they poured warm buttered milk on the noodles. There was NO consistency. Soup is about all it could be described as. No taste. Not even the chicken. The bread was hard and definitly far from fresh. I also ordered fried mushrooms that were mushy. After I bit into them the oil and grease poured out. And to top it all off...45$ for 2 orders of the soupy noodles, mushrooms, 2 little caesar salads that came with the noodles and hard bread. A little much for something I have made 1000x's better many times before. Doesn't even deserve that ONE star I had to give it. There are other places in the same shopping center to choose from...try one of them.
Touch of Italy has the best Italian food around. The pizza is the most delicious. I eat there whenever I'm in the neighborhood. While slow the service is good. They are always so busy, anyone expecting fast service will be disappointed. This is NOT a fast food place like Burger King, Arby's, etc. Their spagetti is so delicious, rivaling my Italian neighbor. Anyone who says anything bad about their food has never eaten there or lost their taste buds.
we went in for a pizza after a movie. we live up the block so it is very convenient. the waitrtess brought us two cokes and said the pizza was in the oven. thirty minutes had past and no pizza. My wife then asked the owner where is our pizza? within minutes he brought our pizza. It was good, but never saw the waitress again. We would have loved to have some refills on our cokes, but she seemed too busy to be bothered with us. The next time she came to the table was with a box to put our left over pizza in, and she was not smiling. We felt like second classs citizens. We realized she had a table of 8 people so the tip was going to be bigger. We hsve gone their with big parties, but I don't think we will take family or friends their again.
