I ve been going to Ronnie s from middleburg since can t find any other oyster bar any where and normally great service to many drunks though it terrible there s no places that don t serve alcOhol or atlest hide it better instead of promoting and showing young children it s ok !!! Friday night may 4th I had a blond server that was good but didn t return my credit card . I returned 30 minutes later after I couldn t pay my pool table bill next door she said I put it on your table I know I did seen it after you left that you would return to table and get it ??? Why would she not pick it up and hOld it until I return ??? They had no idea where it was !!!!and she was very rude at that time ... We need a real family place that has Godly values
Food is good, but they need to clean the place up. Bathroom stalls are always out of order. The front is littered with cig. butts and trash. We were there the other night and one of the staff was sweeping from under a table directly at us with a broom that was years past due to replace. Going down hill.
The food was decent, a basket of Fries is slightly over priced at 3.25. They have a great selection of beers on tap including Yuengling. The wings are decent. The service is slow but friendly and we were 1 of 3 patrons in the whole bar and it took 25 minutes for us to get 20 wings, fries and onion rings. I wouldn't recommend this for a quick lunch.
I go to Ronnies from time to time and have found the food to be very good, although typical Florida Sports Bar food menu. The Green Cove Springs Grilled Chicken Salad is made with baby greens and is excellent. The service is usually pretty fast, but have seen slow times based on time of day (busy at lunch).
I highly recommend Ronnies.
