Just had Sunday Brunch at Buckhead Grill - don t miss out! The place was slammed packed rightfully so! Had great sirachi spicy bloody marys and this brisket breakfast thing for under 10 bucks - I m stuffed - I m in awe is this place really in Columbus GA?
Buckhead has always been consistent and the staff have treated us like family. Anticipating our needs, taking us in the kitchen to meet the chefs, bringing in special wines ( thanks bar staff) and most of all being sweet to our children even when the kids were acting inappropriate! :( If your looking for good American solid fare then this is definitely the place! I shall be a Buckhead loyalist forever!!! P.S. Did I mention the staff was awesome!
The best all around restaurant in Columbus. I had the prime rib, and it was the best cut of meat I have ever had. I could only eat half, it was such a large cut. I had the rest for lunch the next day and it was great.
If you want a good steak then you can't go wrong at Buckhead. I was so suprised to log on and find some negative comments about this amazing new place. We had such a wonderful experience, I find it hard to believe anyone could not. Our server was possibly the best we've encountered in a long time. I had the dry aged porterhouse special with garlic mash. The steak was cooked to perfection as per my order. Make no mistake, it was very good, and it clearly was a PRIME steak There is a big difference between a very good steak and a PRIME steak. Buckhead definiley has nailed the PRIME cut. The ambiance was fun and upbeat, and everyone we came into contact with was smiling. Only problem Buckhead is a bit spendy but can you really put a price on excellence?
My wife and I have been to Buckhead several times in the past and have always left very happy. We went last night and were very disappointed. I ordered the tenderloin pasta, I have ordered this once in the past and loved it. I read the menu description and it says that the cream sauce is spicy. When I received my plate and began eating it felt like my mouth was on fire. I asked the waitress if the dish was supposed to be that insanely hit, she giggled at me and told me it was a habanero sauce. In my experience habaneros are not spicy, they are plain hot, it was disgusting. Instead of offering me something else or at least attempting to fix it, the waitress just giggled and left it alone. So I calmed down and got over it. My wife is pregnant and was wanting to try the apple pie. Mistake. The pie came out and was the tiniest sliver of pie I have ever seen. Plus it was 8 bucks, the most expensive taste test of a desert
I am hoping that this was an isolated incident, we have had very good experiences in the past. Although last night was horrible and we may never go back there.
YUM YUM!: I enjoyed their large steak but my favorite if their side dish, creamy spinach. I normally don't even like spinach but one time I was asked to give it a try and I was hooked. I would just order the creamy spinach and some other dishes and I would be perfectly happy. Their side dishes are just great. They know what to recommend with your main course like the wine and side dishes. The setting once again is like all other steak houses. Very nice and elegant. Lots of wood and interesting pictures. Lovely bathrooms too! Love the service also. If you like wine, they have a huge wine list.
Great Steaks, probably the best in town. Atmosphere is the best in town. Gurantees a good time. Darren is the best waiter there, ask for him. Their fries are insanely good, odd thing to say but it’s true. THE PLACE to go for steak, they always have a good selection.
