My Husband picked to eat at Longhorns(on Macon Rd) for his Birthday.. I called in advance to let them know that we would be there around 630 with 9 adults and 2 children.. They said okay no problem! Once we got there the waitress was complaining about how they could only seat 10 people, and talking to the other waitress rudely.. When they got us to our table it took 30 minutes for us to get our drinks.. The appt and salads came out quick but after that it took almost an hour for our food to come out.. My Husbands friend let them know that it was my Husbands birthday & they said they would come out and sing.. Well his friend had to remind them after we got done eating and it still took them another half an hour to do that.. Our waitress came to our table about a total of two times, but a nice gentleman refilled our drinks.. BUT guess who the 18% Gratuity went to! The waitress who didn t make any effort at our table!
We have been to this restraunt with the same amount of people, and it was far more busy than it was on my Husbands birthday and we have NEVER had this bad of service! but I m going to base our rating off of our last visit..
IT WAS HORRIBLE!
Horrible. I ordered the Prime rib. Cold and old. My Server was so busy she had a back up. The problem there was she only had four tables to take care of. Seriously? Not good. I am really considering getting a hold of the regional manager.
Twenty dollars for cold Prime rib that looks like it sat in the warming lamps for a good five minutes before being served is an abomination. PRIME RIB DOES NOT GO UNDER A FOOD LAMP!!!!!!!
If this is acceptable to Columbus GA I feel sorry for the locals that you would have to travel to Atlanta to get decent food. Thank God I do not live here.
Do not eat there. Came with a party of 20. We were there 2 hours before we finally got our food. The wait staff was rude when trying to find out the status of our food. The manager was unwilling to give us a discount on our ticket. Our food was cold when we got it and the orders were wrong. And had the nerve to tack on a 18% gratuity to each ticket for shitty service. I'll never eat there again. AND THE PLACE HAS COCKROACHES.
I just got home from Longhorn. We went there as a group of about twenty people. The service was very bad the waitresses were rude when asked why things were taking so long. We waited for over a half an hour for our drinks, and over an hour and a half for our food. When the food finally arrived it was cold and some of the orders were completely wrong. Any time anyone asked about the time or the quality of the food, the waitresses were really quick to be defensive and rude. I could not believe that they automatically tack on 18% gratuity with service like that. I will tell everyone I know not to go there. If you are reading these trying to decide where to go, you are much better off anywhere else.
My first time there and my last time. I went with a group of people, we ordered our drinks and it took 30 mins. for the drinks to come (water, tea). Than it took about 15 mins. for the waitress to come back to take our orders. There were 6 people total. We waited an hour for our food to come, and when the food came ALL 6 DISHES were COLD, not one dish was hot or even looked fresh. Also my dish was burnt and cold that the cheese that was on the food was congelled (so cold it just did not look like cheese).
I will not be going back, because it was just awful. It was bad service and bad food. Plates were warm, but the food was cold. The only good thing about it was the bread they served before the food came.
Just be warned that when you go, if you place your order and the food comes an hour later, the food is probably not fresh.
I went to LongHorn Steak House for the first time and I was blown away, the food was great , the service was the best I've ever had and the portion of steak was off the chain. I'll go back over and over again.
Good food, decent prices. The prices are comparable to any other steakhouse, but the food quality seemed to be a little better than the national chains like Outback. The atmoshphere was definatly southern, with wood floors and low lighting. The servings were ample for the price, and the service was prompt and courteous. I would definatly return, though, I won't make it a regular hang out, more of a special occasion type place.
