Yes, we had to wait for 20 minutes. However, it was worth it. The only regret is that I ate so much coleslaw prior to getting the meal. The coleslaw was good, but the rest of the food was outstanding. The highlight of the meal was the grilled pongo that I ordered with the advice of the waitress. Wow! When I return, I will either get just pongo or a combination of pongo with shrimp. This may be the best food that I have had in a long time.

We love Homecoming. It is a little bit of a trip for us since we don't live in Thomasville. They are always packed on the weekends and you usually have to wait at least 30 minutes. Our favorites on the menu are the coleslaw, cheese grits, fried grouper and catfish. It is definitely worth the ride and wait.

My family and I have dined at the restaurant on numerous occasions. The food and the service has always been excellent.

Contrary to the information, the place does not open for lunch on Saturday s, according to someone I spoke with on the phone who works there. It opens at 4 p.m... , so they say.

The Homecoming is a wonderful restaurant with very good food. We make sure to go at least once a month. It features a play room for the kids and it not only has great seafood, but it has almost anything you can think of.

While I agree with some of the former review, I wouldnt break down the door. I enjoy eating there occasionally but it's nothing to write home about. Thomasville in general has little selection and what we do have often has poor service. The former location on the outskirts of Ochlocknee (someone define that please) had a better atmosphere and better food. The new location is geared for the get 'em in and get 'em out mentality of most businesses today. It's like we are all cattle. I've never received bad service there at all, the staff has always been friendly and the food has been ok. But this town is in need of a establishment who isnt interested in herds but rather it's customers.

Homecoming is just like going to grandma's for dinner. Large servings of side items are placed in the center of the table so you can serve yourself. Wonderful catfish and the best coleslaw.
