I gave Blueberry Hill only one star because there wasn t an option for NO star. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience of my 56 years. From the moment we were seated without silverware, (we took some from another preset table), to the one and a half hour wait for our meal. We watched others who arrived AFTER we did leave after they had completed their meal while we waited even longer for our food. The waitress finally, after an hour, asked if she had taken our order. Then, the manager, well, I think she was, told us that our food had been given to another table. Half an hour later we received our food. One steak knife, no butter and NO apology to this point. We asked for our dessert to go and were given cupcakes from a display. Upon paying at the cash register, I asked for the manager and stood to the side, out of the way. I saw her come to the register but she never approached us then left. When I asked for her again we were told she thought we had left. The waitress then left us with a parting sarcastic goodbye that she hoped we enjoyed our cupcakes and to have a nice Valentines Day. Poor girl, I guess she noticed that we had left her NO tip. After driving 45 miles, we found no thrill at Blueberry Hill.
We don t get to go as often as we d like, but every experience has been wonderful. (Bruce on the old piano is worth the trip.) The food is cooked to perfection, service is excellent, and the dining areas are very comfortable. The walk down the boardwalk to the creek is a must if you go. I have remained on the property for half an hour looking at the creek, talking with Bruce and the staff and just feeling at home, which is how they make you feel. This is by far my favorite restaurant.
The Blueberry Hill experience is one of the most unique and delightfull evenings I have ever enjoyed; Excellent food, service, Southern Hospitality, and live piano & guitar entertainment featuring good ole country music. An easy drive from Jacksonville, Fl, Brunswick, Ga, and Waycross, Ga...I live in Callahan, Florida and plan to return often.

Totally amazing!! We drove 65 miles to find it one afternoon, then drove back the next night to eat. Ambiance perfect, food incredible, service impeccable, view wonderful, music to die for!
The ride in is a little daunting if they haven't scraped the sandy dirt road, but when you arrive and experience the location and the food and the people, it is sooooo worth it!!
