We stayed in St Simons 4 days and ate here twice. The first night I had the whole flounder, it was cooked to perfection and very very good. The second time we ate at Blue Water Cafe, I had the hamburger steak, with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. My husband had a salad with grilled chicken and everything including the service was first class. There were 3 good things about this Island, this was number 1. We were here from July 02-05 2011.
My wife and I didn't eat here. We had already had a meal when my wife introduced me to the Blue Water. We went upstairs to the bar where there are great views of the ocean and surrounding islands. I'm not sure that the place fit in with the laid back feel of the rest St Simons but, it was well worth the visit. It was a beautiful spot for a martini or a glass of wine. I'm sorry that we didn't sample the menu there.
What a wonderful place to go . You couldn t ask for any better service and view. My husband and I had our first dinner date there and took friends with us last month. Sylvia is the greatest....... Thanks so much for taking such great care of us.
