Arrived just before sundown and could not ask for a better setting. Beautiful sunset, sparkling water, an enjoyable walk on a dock to the restaurant.
Ambiance is personal, but we liked the nautical, seaside, cottage feel. We were immediately seated by a friendly accommodating hostess who allowed us to choose a table by the window overlooking the shoreline.
Server was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive.
I had the Catania Seafood Pasta (19.95), linguini pasta tossed in a homemade tomato sauce with fresh herbs, shallots and garlic. Topped with grilled Sea Scallops and Georgia Wild Shrimp. There were 6 shrimp and 6 large scallops. They were both prepared to perfection. The shrimp may be the best I have ever had!
My wife had the Sea Scallops, breaded and fried. You may also have them grilled or blackened. There were 13 large scallops also prepared to perfection.
With also shared a large bowl of crap bisque soup, a spinach salad (both were excellent, and the waitress even split the salad into two separate portions and provided two spoons for the soup). The salad was tossed with sliced mushrooms candied pecans and currants and warm bacon dressing topped with Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, two beers, our bill came to $63 including tax. So you decide if is to expensive for you, but in my experience the price is in keeping with the setting, meal quality, ambiance, and setting.
In any event, keeping all of the above in mind, I doubt you will be disappointed
