For more than 20 years Crabdaddyac2s has been a St. Simons Island favorite among locals and island visitors. House specialities included local fresh grilled, blackened, steamed and fried seafood; hand selected steaks with local farmer chosen vegetables, locally requested family recipes and acoeto die forac desserts. We invite you to savor local coastal cuisine tonight, at Crabdaddyac2s.
We had a party of 7 and it was a little dark. I hoped it wasn't to mask the food or prices. The orders were taken quickly and drinks and salad came out pretty quick. The homemade dressings were great. When the main dishes came out (pretty quick too)all was right and very delicious! It is a great place to eat!
Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants of all time! We love it so much, we reserved a room for our rehearsal dinner and all of our out of town guests are still raving about the food two years later! My favorites are the blackend scallops and crab cakes, also the cheese grits are amazing! Save room for the bread pudding too, sounds weird but it's delicious!
My family and I were vacationing in the Golden Isles of Georgia for the first time together (I had been before, 10 years ago) and needed to find a good local seafood restaurant. There were 3 to choose from on Jekyll Island where we were staying but none got great reviews. Crabdaddy's was definitely worth the 25 minute drive back to the mainland and back at another causeway to SSI. We all had something different and everything was superb. Everyone commented on how their menu was diverse but instead of offering several different styles, they offered a few in-house specialties from several different cuisines. They also offer steak & chicken for those land-lubbers like me who aren't crazy about seafood all the time.
We enjoyed our first trip to Crabdaddy's and the service was very good. The seafood was great (blackened Mahi Mahi) and the homemade ranch dressing was delicious. I was told by a friend to try the greenbean casserole the next time. The best item however, was the breadpudding......fantastic!
