Carrabbas prides itself in environment, consistant food quality and service excellence. Savannah is no exception! We have been to many of their restaurants locations and Savannah is among the very best we have been to. When they get backed up, as is often with their popularity in Savannah, especially on Friday through the weekend, their efficiency becomes quite evident. The wait time is pleasant, entertaining and the cool refreshing drink selection great.
Carrabba's interior looks warm and inviting. I like the fact that it's an open kitchen. I like the food there, especially the chicken marsala. The prices are reasonable and the waiters are friendly. If it's your bday, a waiter will sing happy birthday to you in italian and on top of that a slice of free cake. Amazing.
Very nice atmosphere! Food was GREAT and the portions are more than enough to satisfy your appetite! The prices are reasonable and the staff is so nice! My husband and I went here when he was on R&R from Iraq and it was quaint, just what we needed. Highly recommend!
Carrabba's is a nice place with lots of friends and decent food. The sauce is a little sweet for the spaghetti, but is perfect for the lasagna which I prefer over the other dishes. You get good service there as well, but it's not exceptional, and is a little expensive compared to other venues of the same type. They do have Direct TV at the bar which is a plus for people who like to watch a football game over dinner.
I had my reception dinner here and although the hostess on the phone gave me the wrong info on seating and reservations. When we arrived the owner made everything come together all in all. We all had a wonderful time.
My Fiance and i went here one evening. We had never been to Carrabba's before. We walked in and the place was beautiful. It was dimly light and had the italin music lingering in the air, the smell of the food was yummy. We had about a 10 minute wait, which wasn't bad for a Friday night here in savannah. We were seated by our wonderful host, and offered a tasting of some white zinfendale wine.
Were were given some toasted bread, then the waiter came and ground some olive oil, and seasonings for us to make a pesto. We lathered the pesto on our hot bread and ate it, it was good!. We ordered some pre dinner tasters, grilled shrimp, cheese tots, and cheese bread. That was delish as well.
For the main course My husband had the grilled steak, and mashed potato. I had the Parmesean Chicken and Mashed potato. The food was perfectly cooked, the staff was amazing. We were so full we couldn't even order dessert. We tipped the waiter $20.00 we also tipped both of our cooks $20.00 each. This is out of the ordinary since i have never in my life left more than a $10.00 tip for someone, let alone leaving one for the cooks. As soon as my husband and i can afford to go back, we will be there first in line. Wonderful dining experience, great atmoshpere, wonderful staff, and romantic setting!!!!
I was more than pleasantly suprised. The ambience was great, low mood lighting and soft playing music makes it great for a date. I ordered the pork chop marsala and was amazed how excellent the food was. The service was awesome, and I thouroughly enjoyed myself.
