Well, this place used to be good. Good food, good service-But now, there s small portions, cold food, and bad service. BUT it is a good spot, and it s not from a can-I think. My advice is to get a cook book-but they don t even include the Sweet Potato Thing.
Awful service- food cold-man in back yells COLD food when we sent one plate back- burnt pecan pie- bathrooms dirty- I do not advise you to try them. First impressions make you or break you-I will tell my friends do not waste your time or money-- heard everything is served from a can-
So good! We are here on a Sunday around brunch time. The portions are quite large, and there is a lot of stuff to choose from! From the looks of the place on first glance, it appears to be your average diner, but with choices like eggs benedict and apple peanut butter french toast, it's a far cry from ordinary. I ordered a salad with two choices of cold salads, chicken and crab, and I was stuffed by the time I was done. A good amount of choices on the kids menu and a plus to the normal St Simons eateries, this place is SUPER kid friendly! It's a perfect place to go to balance out all of that fried seafood and bar time you might get during your stay in St. Simons. PLUS, their dessert display, amazing. Gets your mouth watering while you sit and eat. Huge cakes and brownie type items. If I could give it an extra star I would!
Wonderful little place. Ate there for breakfast on two different days. Had this wonderful waitress that was perky and friendly. She reminded me of KAtie Holmes in Dawson's Creek (even though I never watched the show). Food filled you up and was just so delicious. My counterparts from the Miami area that dined with me loved it too. Truly a place to stop for breakfast if you are in the area.
