Steamer's Restaurant & Raw Bar, Richmond Hill

Arrived at this restaurant February 17th at 4:55 pm walked in with a seven week old baby and was rudely ushered back out in 40 degree weather by both the bus boy and manager because they do not open until 5 pm. Red headed manager showed her true colors and ushered the family and 7 week old baby back out of the door and into the 40 degree weather advising we were rude and snappy???? I had a party of 17 coming In to eat with y all tonight but I promise you Danny I will never be back you need a change in management. Being called rude and snappy by a manager because you arrive 5 minutes early, walk in thru an open door and wonder why you have to go back in the cold and rain??? Danny you got issues dude with ole red. Real big issues. Rude staff will make you go broke. Good luck with that.

We found our new place to stop - Exit 87 on I-95 in Georgia. Due to holiday traffic we did not make it to our usual destination. We had dinner at Steamer's in Richmond Hill and it was great. We took advantage of the all night happy hour. Also found great fuel prices and nice hotels nearby.

Went to this restaurant by myself while staying at a nearby hotel. Don't usually do that but wanted a glass of wine after a long drive. Sat at the bar, ate a wonderful meal, and made some new friends! Great food and great atmosphere! TRY IT YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

After reading Eriks review, I decided for myself to check out Steamers restaurant and I was very pleased with the service, food, and all around atmosphere. Blake was also my server tonight and she was very helpful with the menu and all of my questions. My drink stayed filled and she has the best personality ive seen in a restaurant. I will most certainly be back soon!

WOW!! We had dinner here tonight. What a great place, very clean, friendly and the food was great! The best part about our experience tonight was that our drinks they were perfect...it’s hard to find a place that gives you a good pour! It was a perfect mix. We will be back! YUM!

Passing through this December. My wife had prime rib-excellent. I had jambalaya-excellent as well. I recommend this resturant. We stayed nearby at the Best Western. Very nice as well.

We live in the Savannah Richmond Hill area and have eaten at many of the other seafood restaurants in and around Savannah. I was thoroughly disapointed with the service and the food I ordered the dozen oysters on the half shell and much to my suprize when I got them the shells felt like they had not even tryed to was the outside off and there was all kind of grit in the oysters themselfs. When asked the server just said the she would take it off the bill didnt even offer to have them clean more and serve me some new. Then when asked to just bring our food to go it took her more then 20 minutes to get my wife a drink refill no manager was ever brought out to our table. Then I saw the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a restaurant one of the servers was blowing her nose right next to the bar and after she was done she did not even use hand sanitizer or even was her hands she walked right from there to a table and served them their drinks. if there was a place to give a zero star rating I am sure I would not be the only person giveing a zero. This place needs to be shut down ASAP.

We were passing through this area of Georgia and were very hungry. We saw the sign and figured if it was a Raw Bar it would more than likely be a good choice for seafood. Boy were we WRONG !!! We got the meals to take out and both the fried shrimp and scallop dinners tasted like that had been frozen and then microwaved. The soup that was ordered was a shrimp and spicy clam for $6.00 and came in literally a styrofoam coffee cup (small size) When questioning the manager who helped bring out the takout bags to us, she nodded her head and with a crystal-clear look on her face that told us she so could not care less when we mentioned extremely small size. The food was disgusting and we would have been FAR BETTER off had we just gone to McDonald's or Subway for a sandwich and saved ourselves about $45.00. Do yourselves a huge favor and keep on driving - you will be thoroughly disappointed in this food. The place should be shut down. We had to give a rating so it is one star (you couldn't choose Zero)

We ate here trying different seafood restaurants in Savannah. The service was really good the food on the other hand was a different story. We ordered a plate that had a little of everything on it. The waitress said it would be plenty for the 3 of us. My husband my self and my 15 year old daughter we ended up having to order more crablegs and another low country boil. For the pricee they are charging we should have gotten alot more food for the price. The mussels and oysters were in a large shell but when you cracked them open they were the size of a dime. Will stick with the Crab Shack out on Tybe we got the same thing for alot less and had enough to take home.
