We really enjoyed the pizza, I would say it was better than Vinnie Van Go Go's by just a pinch. Very crispy crust, great toppings. Service was good all 3 times we went. The last time there was a very large group of state choir singers in the restaurant so it did take a little longer on the pizza but that did not dampen the taste. Highly recommend it.

Great pizza place. My wife and I were in Hiltonhead this summer (2009) and Savannah in November. There are Mellow Mushroom locations in both. We both really enjoyed the pizza. Friendly people, good service.

We just moved to Savannah and have eaten there twice and will many more times. It's definately a place worth trying for anyone visiting or local!

Vinnie Van who?

This is the pizza spot downtown. It's a great place for locals that just want a great pizza and some good draft beer. This place has the best selection of good draft beer around. It helps that they have blue moon on tap...my fav.

Pretty much a local spot

Mellow Mushroom is a quiet and small place to just chill out and have a good time. They have GREAT food and they also have sports on t.v. and some games for adults. Tourists hardly ever go there because it's so small.

Plain and simple...and that's good.

Probably one of the calmest areas downtown. Frequently overlooked by tourists, which is a good thing. Local staff who remember where they come from and a substantial meal at a decent price. I like it.
