Description

If you came to Savannah looking for seafood, look no further. Fiddler's stands as perhaps River Street's most beloved source of the whole gamut of undersea delights. Crab cakes and steamed crab legs, of course, are the house specialty, but the menu also offers live lobster, shrimp and shellfish harvested from regional waters and a nice selection of more land-friendly fare. A respectable and reasonably-priced wine list complements the menu, and a full bar service is available in both the lounge area and restaurant proper.

Horrible experience. Food was cold, dired out and over priced. No flavor at all. This was a terrible excuse for a seafood restaurant. Will not return or recommend to anyone.

Lame.. Very Lame...Wife had Shrimp Creole $14.99 I had the Steamed Shrimp Dinner with the little dried out dead rice $15.99 With a side of Bread $2.99 I don't think we will be going back there again. :-(

We ate at the second location,service was good,raw oysters were room temp and dried out had to send them back.Main course of fried seafood and steamed crab and shell fish was also bad.Will not return.

We recently visited Savannah for a couple days and stopped in at Fiddler's for a couple drinks and appetizers. The staff was very friendly and we received our food and drinks in a very timely manner. The crab dip was amazing. I would definitely suggest visiting this restaurant as the food, service, and atmosphere is great.

They have another location just about 10 mins. away. 7201 Hodgson Memorial Dr. And at THIS location you get a free meal for your birthday with the purchase of another entree. Any thing on the menu. I had surf and turf. 13 oz rib eye and a lobster tail. Also try the calamari and raw oysters. Food was fantastic! Our server was new but he did well and if he couldn`t answer our questions, he went and got the answers.

Do not waste your time, or your money. The service was horrible! We had a waitress (named Kara) that took our order at least 15 minutes before another group arrived. By the time the other group received their entree, we were just receiving our salads - another 15 minutes later! As for the food, it was 'so-so'.
