Spanky's Pizza Galley & Saloon, Savannah

This Spanky's is the only one with Chicken Nachos. These are the yummiest thing ever! I LOVE them... Seriously, best thing on the menu!

I live in the local area and eat here as often as I can. The pizza is to die for. The hospitality is great too. HIghly recommended restaurant!

The chicken fingers (insert funny graphic of their logo with a rooster giving you the bird here) were farking amazing, sooo tasty, tender and juicy, amazing. I was on the hunt for some real good southern fired chicken and was not happy when they didnt have is listed verbatim on the menu, so went with the chicken fingers, dreading chicken 'like' substance. Man was it good, and not overpriced even for a waterfront joint, excellent lunch action,

The food was really good. I would go back. This is not necessarily a complaint, but when we were waiting for our table, we decided to sit at the bar. Something began to shake my chair!! At first i thought it was someone trying to get by and thought nothing else of it. I realized that there was no one near, around, nor behind where I was sitting. Then, it began to shake harder and harder, and my chair legs were all even to the ground and wouldn't even wobble when i tried to move it. There were no winds or anything, and my aunt's chair began to shake simultaneously to mine. I found this very interesting and didn't feel threatened. I would recommend anyone to go to Spankey's; get the cheese sticks!

Spanky's is a reliable River Street favorite. My kids had to eat here during every visit to Savannah . What was their favorite ? Chicken fingers - of course ! I have to admit - they are tasty ! There are plenty of other yummy items to choose from from salads to sandwiches .Oh , yeah ... the pizza is awesome !

I love their chicken fingers!!! They claim to be a pizza place, but everyone around here knows them for their chicken fingers! They are the best! Their "spuds" (like big fat fries) are yummy, too! They are a good bar, too....often known for having unique live music at night. PROS: good food, inexpensive, large place CONS: refills on soda cost extra, service can be slow at times

Just got back from Savannah yesterday for my 1st trip there! Stayed at the Hyatt which is pretty close to Spankys. I went with a group of friends who had been to Spankys a couple times before. The service was the best I have experienced in a long time. The girls are hot. The bartenders are generous. The food, especially the pizza and original chicken fingers, are fabulous. We hit this place all 4 days we were in Savannah. They have great karaoke or a band at night. I highly recommend Bubbles for a server. She is focused and is very pretty. Frank, Vicki, Alyson, and Jill are great also. Awesome location, fabulous food, excellent service. I can't wait to go back. This place is the bomb, just like their "House" shot is called.

Great Food, Great Service And Great Location.

I live in Savannah, and Spanky's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is great and there's always a good crowd. However, I do have a few complaints. They do charge you for soda refills (and the server will bring more without asking or telling you they cost extra), which is absolutely ridiculous in a sit-down restaurant. Also, it can be difficult to be noticed when you walk in to be seated, since there is no host or hostess at the door. Sometimes you just have to ask where you should sit. Otherwise, the chicken fingers and spuds are like no other, and Riverstreet is a great location! It is one of the least expensive restaurants on Riverstreet, which is also a plus!
