We went to eat here on vacation. There were 4 adults, 2 toddler & an infant. We had to ask for menus after waiting for someone for 15 minutes. I spilled my drink & when the manager came to clean it he left coke all in my seat and I never got another drink. We waited another hour and a half and never had any food. The kids were restless and starting to get loud and the manager asked us to take him outside to console him and handed us a pack of crackers. We had already taken him outside twice and he had already asked us several times where his food was. Our party got up to leave and I asked the manager what kind of comment that was and he said sorry the kid was being lound and we have other customers. I told him that I wasn't one to ever complain but this was the worst service we had ever had and we were leaving and he said ok. Looking around in the restaurant there was no one in the dining room eating bc they didn't have their food either. I called back to speak with the owner and left a message. She called the next day after we had left to go home and as I was telling her what happened she said she already knew bc her manager told her. Then I went to tell her tht she needed to be aware that there were locals that were talking bad about her restaurant and she said she wasn't going to be insulted by me and she had been doing more business than anyone there for 18 years and she hung up on me. By far the worst restaurant ever!
moved to Savannah in July. Went to Fannies our first time this past Sunday. We had seen it from the beach. The deck was wonderful.......now being off season there was no crowd. The food was excellant. My husband had a steak he raved about and my chicken sandwich was out of this world. The entertainment was wonderful and that girl could SING!!!!!!!! Our waitress was great. We will be back.
While vacationing on Tybee we decided to order from Fannies on the Beach. I had a copy of their menu and what I ordered had actually gone up in price since the printing a few months before. Then what I ordered tasted terrible. The potatoes tasted a day and a half old and everything else was so overcooked you couldn't eat it. I expected so much more from a $60.00 meal. When I called them about it, they wanted to fix me another order. I didn't like the first one, why would I want another?
Had their Sunday brunch of eggs benedict and a mimosa which was stellar. My friend had the poached eggs on grit cakes with asparagus and lobster cream sauce which she just adored! The had superior fried green tomatoes and the presentation of their dishes is befitting a white tablecloth establishment. We went back few days later for late lunch and had the best guacamole we've had in years (made by Pablo, who was a Mexican avocado farmer in a past life) with homemade chips and some extremely massive salads. Drinks were festive and frozen and yummy as well. Entrees at about $12, appetizers at $7 and drinks at $7. Large outdoor deck open Thurs - Sunday. DEFINATELY has the recommendations of the locals as well.

milk in the evening. Beakfast was perfect with fress cut fruit and eggs benedict on toast. The rooms are ...
