I have always liked the Olive Garden, but this one is not your normal Olive Garden. I went to pick up my family's To-Go order last night, and I had to wait for 20 mins. before anyone came to work the bar. There were only 2 people sitting at the bar waiting for food. When the bartender brought them their food, he said "I'm sorry about your appetizer, it is on the wall!" LOL really? Why tell the customer that? He offered to replace it, if they would like, but they declined, and asked for a different app. for free, he said yes. While I waited FOREVER for my To-Go, 7 employees were standing around complaining to each other about the other one's job performance, it was just crazy!!! Nobody wants to see that kinda behavior when they are paying to eat out, and to have a nice time. Very poor attitudes. I have never felt so invisable in my life. The manager on duty must have quit, or something. This location needs a good manager, so if you are a good rest. mngr. please apply here. Also, they never ever give enough sauce for the spagehtti.

I have never been disappointed with the professionalism at a restaurant as I was when we walked into this Olive Garden. The waitress (whose name I still don't know) greeted us with a "heeeeeyyyyy" "can I bring everyone waters?" Now "what would you like to drink?" Not "Hi, my name is ****, I'll be taking care of you today..." There were 7 of us. My niece had a hair on her food - she was promised by Steve McKinney (manager on duty) that her food would be remade and back to her in "12 minutes." 27 minutes later the waitress brought it to the table. When asked what he was going to do about the hair on the food, Steve said that he was going to comp her meal. Asked what he was going to do about the extra minutes it took to bring the food, the fact that the breadsticks were (not figuratively but quite literally) as hard as if they had been left out for DAYS, and the fact that he said he would check back and did not, Steve still said he would comp only the meal with the hair in it. It wasn't until my mother went up (pen and paper in hand) and began inquiring about what he was going to do about all the issues (in front of a dozen people at the bar) that he made it right. The upside is that he made no excuses. The downside - you expect better than this from a chain establishment.

I am here visiting my daughter at Fort Gordon and thought we would go to one of our favorite places to eat back home. I was disappointed in this Olive Garen, it was very poor, We were told we had a 10 minute wait on a table but there was plenty of empty table about half of the restraunt was being used.I dont mind waiting but there were plenty of staff seating people and 3 standing just taking names for tables, Watched as one of the seaters had a little panic attack as she had 5 people waiting for tables. I am used to a much more organized and busy Olive Garden. Service was slow. Food was not prepared as to my Olive Garden standards.. It was luke warm at best and only a small amount of sauce on dry pasta..Not to mention this one doesnt give out the Olive Garden mints..

No matter where you go in the U.S., Olive Garden restaurants are pleasingly predictable - they're all the same. You get the same good service by cheerful and courteous wait staff, and good food. Unfortunately they all have waiting lines, but this is the small price that you pay for popularity resulting from quality. I have never eaten in an Olive Garden anywhere that served poor quality food or gave me unsatisfactory service and believe me...I'm picky.

The good service is the only thing stopping me from awarding less than two stars. I ordered the "Tour of Italy", as I fell for the delightful image on the front of the menu - which was a slice of perfectly formed lasagne, chicken and inviting pasta. When I got it - the lasagne looked like it had been thrown across the kitchen and caught on the plate, the chicken was that you would find in a chicken burger from KFC with tomato paste on it, and the pasta was bland. To make matters worse, all but the pasta wasn't particularly warm either. This was our second visit however where after the first, when we asked how long until we could get a table, my wife was told to "wait like everyone else". Thinking the guy was just having a bad day, we went back. Service was nice, and it was busy, if your after a good selection of wine with an uninspiring dish then come here, but I wouldn't bother waiting if there's a queue.

I love the soup and salad and that it. Most of the entree's here have the quality of microwave meals. Great for lunch not for dinner.

If you like to wait forever for moderate food you will like this place. It's way over rated and I have had food out of a can that taste similar, if not better. The service is awful, as we had someone almost spill a plate of food in our laps from another person's table, and remind you that at this time it was not even that busy (clumsy isn't excused in the restuarant business).

The service is very slow. One time, I went there they seated us immediately, but we sat for 20 mins and no one took our drink order. To finally get someone to serve us we had to go to a hostess. We then had a very rood waitress, who never apologized when they brought us our wrong food.
