Myabi Kyoto Japanese Steak Hse, Augusta

Best hibachi we've ever had and best sushi in the Augusta area! Go befofe 6:00 pm for the early bird specials for hibachi (much better prices for the same ridiculous amount of food!) :) And ALWAYS make reservations, even on a week night unless you want to wait. Their Long Island Ice Tea and Sex on the Beach drinks are amazing too! The only negative is their hostesses aren't that friendly, but otherwise you won't be disappointed!

The best food ever! I love the rice....something about the texture and the flavor make me crave japanese, especially while being pregnant!

Bravo, This place is awesome the Sushi is great the service is efficient , and the waitresses are nice , but the receptionist a bitter single woman. Everything here is awesome but if you want to MAKE A RESERVATION FAST after 6 P.M. Youll end up waiting 15 minutes+ but luckily everything pasts by quickly so enjoy yourselves and try the Hibachi Shrimp and Terikyaki Chicken

The food at this place is wonderful. You can get a plate and be stuff and have extra to eat agian at home. I haven't to date seen one person not ask for a to-go-box because of the portions. The one thing that would be nice though is a different type of entertainment from the chef's. It seems like each one does the exact same show and after you have seen it 3 plus times it can get to be a bore.

This was the worst Japanese stir-fry experience I have ever had. Myabi Kyoto's, advertised as the best Japanese restraunt in town, started off with an hour and a half wait only to be seated at an unclean table, with salt covering the grill and residue being left on the grill from the last dinner. Not only that, the tiles popped out on the table. We ordered sushi as an appetizer, and the sticky rice was not even sticky as was falling of the sushi rolls. When the cook got to the table and began cooking the vegetable, when we recieved it, it was squishy with a bad texture. Then the rice was just horrid, it as gooey. Then the food.. I ordered the Scallops and Shrimp. The cook put way to much lemon on the scallops, taking away from the flavor. The shrimp looked horrid before even being cooked. And it was extremely salty. In addition, the fryed grease on the grill, you know, the stuff the chisel off? It was attached to the shrimp when you recieved it. What a waste, but not much considering it looked like crap to begin with. Also, the restraunt was loud, the tables over crowded, and the entertainment you usually recieve? Ha, there was none. Out of the four sit down habichi style Japanese restraunts in town, this I would have to say was the worst.

very good food, very rude receptionst. A man dropped his food and the lady stuck the trash can by him for him to clean it up. They act all high and mighty.

I love this place by far! When it's time to wind-down by the end of the week, the girls and I stop by this place. The only thing that is not up to par about the place is the wait but, what can you expect for a real popular place! I've had sushi from other places as well but, Myabi's takes the winning medal for the best! Come to think of it, I'll only eat suhi from Myabis. The Staff is great because they make the place fun. Its not a boring everyday dinner experience at this joint.

this palce was great!!!! the sushi was awesome and the hibachi was also very good.. maybe a little too much rice though.. the waitstaff was friendly and entertaining.. we had a great time!!

I do recommend eating at this restaurant. I have frequented many Japanese style restaurants in the area and has been one of the better places. The food is good and the chefs that prepare the food in front of you are humorous. I think this is a good place to go with friends and family for a night out or even a nice dinner for two.

I have had the opportunity to frequent other Japanese restaurants in the area and enjoy their cuisines. What I like about Myabi is their intimate sushi bar. The chefs are lively and the wait staff is amazing. The menu is filled with an abundance of choices that make you want to come back for more!
